ash is falling from the sky and I worry if I'll ever understand math.
we walk on fire and all I want is to snuggle with him.
their suffering, their torment, digs deep into my skin.I hear the scrapping and rasping, the jarring infliction of the war. It settles into my bones, leaving a blistering ache, making me feel like the most selfish being on earth.
I'm human, a flickering particle in a mound of dust.
