A voltaic fire throbs in her throat, a voltage warbling, setting her ribs to a sniping catastrophic hurl.
It aches, reminding her of the drain, the slumber, the shivery squawking that's under her fingernails.
It's her fatal flaw, her mind shows her a different reality, and her body puts her to sleep.
