Mother of the Bride (bongleni's version)

"He's competing with me!" Leni said, infuriated.

Janice smirked, sipping her juice. "Why would you say that?"

Leni frowned. "Have you heard me? Bahay ang niregalo nya kina Nella! He's rubbing it on my face na mas mapera sya kesa saakin! I hate him!"

"Ang OA mo naman. Malay ba ni Bong na coffee machine ang ireregalo mo? Why would you give them that anyway?" Janice rolled her eyes.

"Ano pala ang dapat na binigay ko? Eh diba yung mga bata ngayon gustong-gusto yung kape? Pang bagets kaya yung gift ko." Leni defended.

"Well, it turned out Bong can give away a house that easy." Janice smirked.

Leni crossed her arms on her chest, irritated by that very fact. "I hate him!"

Janice chuckled. "Sabi nga nila, the more you hate, the more you love!"

Leni frowned at her best friend. "What the heck!"

Leni intertwined her fingers with Nella as they both excitedly went inside the building where they're going to meet Nella's coordinator, Coral.

"Hi! Coral! It's so nice to finally see you!" Nella exchanged pleasantries with Coral.

Leni shook hands with her as well.

"Let's get into business!" Coral said, excitedly. "This is gonna be your wedding schedule. You can see there all the activities that you will be doing days before the big day." She handed Leni and Nella two folders.

Leni felt overwhelmed upon seeing all the planned events arranged in a table. It has complete details, from the time, venue, and what to wear. "I thought we're gonna plan your wedding?" Leni whispered to Nella who's sitting beside her.

Nella flashed an awkward smile, "Mom, Coral already has a plan. A nice plan."

"Are you sure?" Leni asked.

Nella nodded.

"Is there a problem?" Coral asked.

"Oh no— nothing. My mom was just clarifying something." Nella made up.

Coral smiled at Leni. "Don't worry, Mrs, every thing is well taken care of. You have your own schedule as well, there, I highlighted it for you."

Leni smiled awkwardly after seeing all her activities highlighted in pink.

"All is set, I suppose?" Coral stood up. "All we need to do is to show up on time, and make sure to be always camera ready because all these activities will be documented. Millions of people will be watching."

Nella giggled. "Thank you so much, Coral! You're an angel!"

Janice, who's sipping her cocktail looked at Leni who's sulking beside her. They were both under the shade of a big umbrella near the pool. "She called you what?!"

"Mrs.!" Leni said for the nth time. "As if we're close!"

"Oh my god!" Janice exclaimed, also offended.

Leni sighed in disbelief. "Hindi ito yung naimagine ko na gagawin natin dito. I thought mag eenjoy tayo."

"Well, pwede pa naman tayo mag enjoy." Janice suggested, scanning the folder Coral has given Leni.

Leni rolled her eyes.

"What about massage?" Janice asked.

"Maganda yan sa gabi. Para diretso tulog na tayo." Leni disagree.
