Leni has been staring herself in front of the mirror inside their bathroom for quite a while now. This can't be happening. She thought. There has been sudden changes in her both psychically and emotionally these past few weeks. Also, she recalled the last time she made love with Bongbong. It's just fitting. She suddenly don't know what to do. It occupied her head all the time.

Suddenly, a knocked on the door interrupted her thoughts. "Mahal?" It was Bongbong.

"Yes mahal?" Leni uttered.

"Okay ka lang? Kanina ka pa dyan. Kakain na tayo." He said.

She exhaled heavily before opening the door, "Kakain na?" She smiled weakly.

He nodded. "Are you okay?"

"Yes. Bakit?" She answered and held his hand ushering him towards the door of their room. Their children are waiting for them.

"Sure ka? Parang maputla ka." He observed, gripping her hand a bit.

She frowned at him. "Oo naman. Sus! Baka hindi ka lang sanay na wala akong makeup kaya feeling mo maputla ako."

He smirked. "You have a point."

Weeks later, Leni decided to wear loose clothes and flat shoes especially when she's out of office doing some groundwork. She started to look at her schedule in the next coming months making it more complicated for her. The next couple of months will be filled with trainings and seminars that require more groundwork for her and she knew these will involve visiting and staying in farthest communities.

"This is not happening." She said under her breath.

"Ma!" Jillian called her attention from across the table. She was doing her homework.

"Hmm?" Leni looked at her daughter.

"Nag message si Ate Trish, patapos na daw po duty nya. Nagtatanong kung susunduin mo daw ba sya?" Jill asked.

Leni looked at the time on her laptop, she forgot to fetch Tricia from the hospital. "Oh! My god! I forgot. Message mo ate mo, susunduin ko na sya." She told Jill and immediately got her keys.

"Mama, sasama ako!" Jill almost shouted, running towards the door.

"Halika na!" Leni waited for Jill inside the car.

They were quiet during the ride. Leni was focusing on the road although she's been of something else while Jill was busy with her phone, messaging Tricia that they are on their way to fetch her.

"Jill." Leni started.

"Yes ma?" Jill answered without looking at her mom.

"What if magkaroon ka ng bagong kapatid?" Leni asked.

Jillian looked at her mom with a huge surprise on her face, "Buntis ka?"

"No!" Leni frowned.

Jillian looked at her mom unconvincingly, "Weh?"

"Hindi nga." Leni denied. "Pero kung for example magkaroon ka ng bagong kapatid, okay lang sa'yo?"

Jillian frowned, she thought of a lot of scenarios in her head. "Okay lang naman ma."

Leni nodded.
