"...I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest announced earning cheer from few people at the back.

Bongbong smiled sweetly at Leni as ge leaned closer to her. "Finally, Mrs. Marcos!" He said before kissing her.

Daylight was played as the background music.

Their family and closest friends cheered. Bongbong and Leni turned to them as they posed showing their wedding rings.

"Congratulations to both of you! Finally, nakasal na din kayo. I thought maghihintay pa kami ng 2028 before you guys tie the knot. Ang tanda nyo na pareho by that time." Irene jested as she was asked to give a speech in behalf of their family.

"Anyway, we are so happy to welcome you Len to our family. Well matagal ka naman ng part ng pamilya namin so yeah." She continued, everyone laughed. "I'm so glad Bonget found you because you brought a lot of sunshine and love and hope not just to him but to us as well. Mas naging mabuti at responsable si Bonget because of you."

Leni smiled at Irene. "Thank you!"

"I just hope na huwag mo ng tawagan si Bong during his speech." She joked, everyone laughed as they get the joke.

Leni was just laughing while shaking her head. That phone call was listed as one of her most embarrassing moments.

"Anyway, congratulations once again! Congratulations to the country's first lady!" Irene toast.

It was a simple and intimate wedding as Bongbong and Leni wished. They invited their closest friends and family members to come to Amanpulo to celebrate their love.

After Leni has been cleared by her doctors, the couple decided to just push the wedding earlier making Irene a bit stressed because she was assigned by the couple to head the "organizing committee". Irene being Irene, she was able to come up with an amazing beach wedding which amazes the couple.

"Thank you everyone for your well wishes kanina." Bongbong said after they were asked to give the final speech. "I'm so thankful that you came here in just a short notice." They laugh. "Pasensya na sa mga kaibigan namin na hindi man lang nakapag diet before they wore their gown." They laugh again. "But on a serious note, I would really want to thank you all for being here, thank you for keeping me and Leni private for a very long time. I'm happy to be able to share this special day with you guys. Looking back, parang suntok sa buwan lang na magkakagustuhan kami ni Leni because of long list of reasons, but I remembered when I told you guys na parang iba na yung nararamdaman ko you were very supportive of it. All the more when I decided to pursue Leni, kaya sobrang saya ko na nandito kayo ngayon kasi malaking parte kayo ng relasyon namin." They all clapped their hands.

"Aagawin ko na yung mic kasi malapit ng maiyak 'tong katabi ko." Leni joked as she got the mic from Bongbong, who's obviously on the verge of crying.

"Anyway, thank you everybody for coming here today. Sobrang appreciated namin 'to lahat. And shoutout also the staff, to the organizers, to Irene most especially, kung wala kayo baka di naging possible to lahat." Leni said. "Alam nyo, bukod sa narealize namin ni Bongbong na dapat makasal na kami agad after I had an heart attack, kailangan na talaga namin ito i-rush kasi madami kaming schedules sa mga susunod na weeks." Everyone laughed. "Sabi ko sa kanya, ang dami kong graduations na pupuntahan at madami akong book signing event, plus anniversary week ng Angat Buhay next week, so we really have to get married kasi kung hindi baka makalimutan na naman yung kasal abutin pa kami ng 2028." Everybody was just so happy listening to Leni. She's really good at storytelling and naturally funny.

"Pero yun, um, maraming maraming salamat sainyo and ang wish ko lang talaga is sana huwag kaming mamali ni Bongbong sa mga susunod sa araw at baka masabi namin na mag-asawa na kami publicly." She ended her speech.
