Leni read the headlines as she scroll through her Twitter timeline. She looked at his pictures from the departure to the moment he landed. She cannot imagine herself climbing those stairs with him, smiling while waving, wearing custom made dresses with protocols she needed to uphold. His life became more complicated, she sighed.
She exited the app and went to check her messages, he didn't bother to message her. The main reason why she decided to check the social media is because he doesn't update her. She sighed once again. Guess he's really busy.
Her phone suddenly rang,
Cong. Kit Belmonte Calling...
She picked it up, "Hello? Saan ka na?"
"Lumabas ka na. Malapit na kami— o ito na kami. Halika na."
Leni stood up quickly and get her stuff. "Okay sige sige. Patulong ako sa gamit ko."
"Okay. Pababa na ko ng sasakyan. Bye na!"
Call ended.
Kit greeted her with a smile. He carried her bag as they went inside the car where she saw Raffy, Rona, and Apple. Then, they went straight to the airport. They were bound for Naga for their 3-day seminar with youth and thanksgiving concert.
"Madam!" Some security personnel bowed when they saw Leni at the airport.
Leni just smiled and nodded to them as well.
Some passengers also recognized her as well. "Madam First Lady!" A man approached her. "Pwede po pa selfie ako?"
Leni nodded. "Ay sige po."
She willingly smiled at the camera for some snaps.
"Thank you maam!" The man said. Leni smiled.
As she walked further, she saw more people turned their heads to her. Some approached her asking for pictures.
Leni just nodded and granted to have a picture with her.
"Sobrang ganda nyo po maam!"
"Sayang po hindi kayo masyadong lumalabas labas sa balita."
