"Daddy! Daddy ko!" Emi knocked on her dad's door early in the morning.

Bongbong opened the screen door after seeing his daughter. "Hi, anak! Aga mo naman."

"Tadaa! I brought you breakfast!" Emi exclaimed, flashing the plates to her dad.

He giggled. "Wow! Thank you, nak! Kumain ka na ba?"

Emi nodded. "Katatapos ko lang po, dad. Pero sasamahan kita kumain para di ka masad."

He hugged her through her shoulder. "Thanks, nak!"

They went to the dining area. He checked the plates she brought, it has sunny side up egg, ham, and hotdogs. She also brought garlic fried rice and chili flakes.

"Wow! Chili flakes! How do you know this is my favorite?" He beamed.

Emi frowned. "I didn't know, dad."

He frowned.

"Pinadala lang yan saakin ni Mama." Emi said. "Sabi ko kasi isali ka nya sa pagluto ng breakfast. Tapos pinadala nya yan."

He nodded. He felt kilig after hearing how Leni knew his likes until now. He took a picture of the food before consuming it. He also asked Emi to pose for a picture. He then post it on his ig with a caption,

"Hi Bong! Can you pick Emi up from school later? I have a batch reunion to attend kasi mamaya."

Leni texted Bongbong. Its December so there's a lot of gatherings. She heard her phone chimed indicating a text message. She saw his unsaved phone number.

"Okay, babe. I'll take her to dinner nalang later. Sunduin mo nalang sya sa bahay mamaya when you get home."

Leni smiled. It's nice he offered to take Emi while she's away. At least she's at peace knowing Emi will have somebody with her. She replied right away,

"Okay po. Thanks!"

She went back to her work when her phone chimed once again. She opened his message,

"You're welcome. Take care. I love you!"

Leni pursed her lips trying to stop herself from smiling too much. She look like an idiot as she stared at her phone. She didn't know what to reply. She decided to went out to check the kitchen of her restaurant.

"Hi Ma'am!" The kitchen staff greeted her the moment she entered.

"Hi! Kumusta?" She asked.

"Okay naman po maam. Medyo madami pong orders." Chef Jay said.

Leni nodded. "Tulungan ko na kayo." She asked for her apron to check where can she help.

After a few minutes, her phone rang. Everyone looked at her phone which was placed at the counter. "Jam, pasuyo nga nung phone ko please." She asked.

Jam, one of the kitchen staff nodded and went to grab her phone. She gave it to her boss before it goes off. Leni glanced at the screen and saw Bongbong's unsaved number. "Pasagot ako, Jam. Loud speaker mo nalang."

Jam immediately swiped the screen to answer the call before pressing the speaker icon. She held it tight as Leni's hands were both occupied. "Hello?"

"Hello babe? Where are you?" Bongbong answered.

Everyone halted the moment they heard someone spoke from the other line.

"Um dito sa restaurant. Why?" Leni didn't know what to say. Everyone can hear them.
