"Magkaaway kayo ng asawa mo?" Siege asked Leni as they went out for coffee.

Leni rolled her eyes. "Ewan ko dun. Ako ang iniinitan ng ulo dahil ayaw nya kay John."

"John? John as in John ni Emi?" Siege asked.

Leni nodded.

"Bakit naman?" Siege asked.

"Eh ayaw nya daw kay John." Leni said.

"Ay ganon? Bakit naman daw? Okay naman si John. Mabait naman saka okay din family." Siege assess.

Leni sighed. "Exactly! Eh itong si Bongbong ayaw nya mag boyfriend si Emi. Ako pa ang may kasalanan kasi daw pinayagan ko magpaligaw si Emi."

"Well, pumayag ka naman talaga." Siege uttered.

Leni's eyes bulged. "Wow!"

Siege chuckle. "What?! Totoo naman na pinayagan mo ang anak mo magpaligaw."

"Oo nga. Pumayag ako kasi pag hindi baka itago tuloy saakin ni Emi. Mas mabuti na yung kilala ko ang mga magiging boyfriend nya kesa naman malaman ko nalang broken hearted na pala yung anak ko." Leni defended.

Siege sighed. "Explain that to Bong."

Leni rolled her eyes. "Hay naku! Sarado nga isip nun. Gusto yata tumandang dalaga ang anak nya!"

"Samahan mo ako mag grocery mamaya, babe." Leni said after they dropped Emi off at school. Holiday break is over.

Bongbong just nodded as he shifted gears.

"Susunduin mo ba ako mamaya or ako nalang pupunta sa store?" She asked.

"Susunduin kita. Huwag kang mag commute." He said without looking at her.

She nodded.

There were silence inside the car. Only the sound of the radio were heard. Leni looked at him but he was too quiet and so focused in driving. Until they reached the restaurant where he will drop her off.

"Bye. Call me nalang." She said as she unbuckled her seatbelt.

He just nodded.

"Kiss." She pouted and leaned a bit to him. "Di mo ako ikikiss?"

He didn't bother to speak, he just leaned and gave her a quick kiss.

"I love you!" She happily said as she kissed him again.

He nodded.

"I love youuu!" She repeated with much more emphasis.

He nodded. "I love you too!"

She rolled her eyes. She knew he's still mad over the fact that she permitted Emi to enter a relationship. She cannot undo her decision tho.

She went out of the car and entered her restaurant where everyone greeted her lively.

Emi called Bongbong from his house in front of theirs telling him it's time for dinner. "Dad, kakain na po."

He closed his MacBook and stood up. He knew Leni doesn't want the food waiting. "Ano ulam natin, 'nak?"

Emi shrugged as they walked side by side going to the other house. "Di ko po nacheck. Pagbaba ko po kasi sabi ni Mama tawagin na daw po kita."

He nodded. He sling an arm over her shoulder. "Gusto mo ba sumama saakin sa Manila sa bakasyon?"

She beamed at him. "Sure daddy!"
