Leni suddenly paused and looked blankly at the wall of her office. She's now back in Manila for her usual schedule.
"I need you, Mahal ko."
It's echoing inside the four corners of her office. She hears it everytime she closes her eyes at night and in between silence in the day.
"I need you, Mahal ko."
She sighed and decided to went down for coffee. She greeted the museum visitors as she made her way to the coffee stand just near the entrance. Some asked for pictures which she gladly agreed. Then, she reached the stand for her usual iced coffee order.
"Ang init ngayon no?" Leni strike a small talk as she waits for her coffee.
"Kaya nga maam. 40 degrees yata tayo ngayon. Napakainit." Jen, the barista replied.
"Dapat talaga maglagay ng maraming puno or madaming parks lalo na dito sa NCR." Leni suggested.
Jen nodded.
Suddenly, a bunch of cars stopped by the entrance. Both Jen, Leni, and people who are taking their caffeine looked outside. A bunch of men went out from the cars and from that moment, Leni knew who it is.
It's Bongbong.
Leni sighed. She didn't know how to talk to him now after that one emotional night they shared in Cam Sur last week.
"Hi!" Bongbong beamed the moment he saw Leni standing behind the coffee stand.
"Mr. President! Nice to see you here!" Leni tried to smile, she knew that everyone is now watching them. Some people are now taking videos and pictures.
"Napadaan lang." he said then gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.
Leni was shocked by what he did but quickly recovered.
"I have something to tell you. Dun tayo sa taas." He said.
She was hesitant at first but then everyone was looking at them, and she felt uneasy. "Uh okay." She looked back at Jen, "Jen, okay lang balikan ko nalang yung coffee ko? Mabilis lang."
Jen nodded. She heard their conversation. "Sige po maam. No problem po."
"Thanks!" Leni smiled before walking away.
"BBM!" The museum visitors were all surprised to see Bongbong there as well. They asked for pictures and autographs from him which he gladly did.
"Sir crush na crush ko po si Sandro. Baka po pwedeng pasabi na crush ko sya!" A young woman said earning loud cheers from other visitors.
Bongbong laughed. He's now used to girls gushing about his son. "Sige sabihan ko mamaya."
"Crush ko din po kayo, Sir!" Another one said.
"Naku! Di na 'ko pwede. Magagalit misis ko!" He replied. Everyone cheered and teased Leni who's standing behind them, watching.
"Ay sorry po Atty. Leni! Crush lang naman po. Baka po di nyo na ako papasukin dito sa museum next time." The woman jested.
Leni just chuckled.
"Sige na. Maiwan ko muna kayo dito. Pumunta lang ako dito kasi binisita ko misis ko. Enjoy kayo!" Bongbong bid his goodbye.
Some teased as they saw Bongbong and Leni climbed the stairs together.
The foundation staff greeted Bongbong as they saw their boss with the President. He just waved and smiled at them as he followed Leni into her office.
Leni's expression turned sour the moment she locked the door and they were alone. "Pwede ba sa susunod magsabi ka naman kung pupunta ka dito."
He frowned. "Bakit? Di ko na ba pwedeng bisitahin yung misis ko?"
