Blade was looking at the little piece of paper, sent by Umi some days ago after the Ball
"I don't know if you people of the North can read, woops!
But if you do
You should check the archieves of the Emperor's Palace.
I will give you another hint; It's related to the real Crown Prince
I am sure our little Prince won't tell you much without a little push, so I think I will a little.
If you betray us, you will die, duke.
Tons of love from the mages!
- Umi, Grandmaster of the Mage Guild"This motherfucker... I hate mages" Blade muttered "I have sent Evias with the ranger unit to infiltrate the Emperor's Palace, I guess in some weeks we might get something... but Evias was just confused on what to seek exactly... I hope his elf instinct hits else I have no fucking idea... Why do mages not speak directly... goddamit" the duke bit his own lip, making it a bleed to use it as mana to summon a little flame to burn the mage message.
Ying nodded a little "Okay, great, let's focus on..."
"The mage still hasn't showed up to our manor also" Blade muttered annoyed in the office with his father checking the map of the next raid.
"Are you seriously thinking about that mage? You know mages are like wild beasts. Nobody can tame them and they do whatever they want" he said to then sigh "We have to focus, the Emperor has asked us to patrol and be sure to punish whoever is spreading rumours about the Royal family"
Blade rolled his eyes "I know already there's no one but a group of elves who dislike us because we work for the Emperor. I know I will be sent alone to deal with it"
Ying flinched and his son smirked "You... You really need to stop to use that gift of yours, what if Gods get mad because you keep telling me the future?" he muttered and Blade crossed his arms to then look at the map
"I am sure they won't... else my head should be magically chopped off" he smiled evilly and his father sighed "I had many moments where I could have died yet I am still here" he did shrug "Maybe Gods truly want me to carry on my revenge"
"Have your noticed this?" Ying looked at his son "You have rescued the Crown Prince and he's staying in our territory... and also Lady Irene... Yet everything you know still applies in this timeline"
Blade blocked for a moment and then crossed his arms "It's like... Dan Heng's existence... didn't really impact at all... but it's also true... We know the Emperor is sending exploration units to look for Dan Heng... Maybe for now everything looks still but... underneath... snakes are there... thinking they can outsmart us" he smirked holding his sword "We just need more patience."
Ying nodded to then look outside the window seeing his wife walking with Rose, Dan Heng and Lady Irene.
"Seems the Crown Prince got back to go out his chamber" he had a smug and Blade narrowed his stare "Have you followed my advice?"
"You mean fucking him in the garden?" Blade's lips were twitching and Ying tilted his head with an obvious stare "No, I followed mother's advice."
"Of course you follow always your mother's advice, never mine on these matters"
"You didn't fuck mother in the garden"
"I actually did after we got married, maybe we did conceive you there, who knows?" Ying said with no shame and Blade grit his teeth punching his father, who punched him back.
"Why the fuck are you telling me?!" he exclaimed and Ying rolled his eyes dodging another kick
"Because it's clear you will take ages to get the Crown Prince at that slow pace your mother mentioned" he crossed his arms and Blade rolled his eyes
