Umi flinched when he cut his own palm and dirty of blood the ruins of the temple he was in. He looked around and the forst was silent like even the birds weren't allowed to fly around that area.

Indeed, Umi after the meeting he decided to reach that place.

He was in the temple where he used to meet his muse, Dan Heng's mother. The Temple and the priestess died there some days later the Emperor took her away. It looked like the Dragon of War just wanted to make sure no filthy human would take another of his priestess and so the earthquake happened, killing, giving no escape to those beautiful women.

Dragons were possessive over whatever they'd consider theirs.

The Dragon of War had his way to keep something with him forever.

"I know you see me. Why aren't you answering my pray?!" Umi grit his teeth as his purple eyes were glowing of pure mana. He was blocking his own healing spells that would activate as soon as he'd get hurt, knowing it wouldn't please the God. He kept pressing his bleeding hand on the ruins.

"It's so amusing, give more..."

Umi felt the whispers coming from the forest and in a glance ashes were carried by a strong wind, that made the mage step back a little to then notice those slowly forming a shadow up the broken and fallen roof of the temple now covered in roots and leaves.

"Keep going" the dragon of War was sat on the roof in front of Umi, the chin was resting on the hand's palm said as his long silver hair was flowing and the long black dragon tail was moving slowly. The eyes... Umi knew he couldn't look at them because it would have made him mad.

It was on purpose, the eyes had something that would lure, almost force the mage to stare right into them.

He bit his own lip to bleed, trying not to get lured. He distracted himself by pressing more the hand full of cuts on the stones, making the dragon smirk pleased.

"You're behaving, mage, I am pleased" the dragon spoke "Do you expect the God of War to have mercy on you since you stepped in the land that once was his sacred temple?" the tone was deep and also Umi felt his own life at the edge by just those words "The blood won't ever be enough, what you're doing is useless..."

"I don't want your blessing." Umi grit his teeth and the dragon did giggle amused "I need answers."

"Oh? So you're once again risking your life for... answers" the dragon smirked "Humans are always so fascinating and stupid. What will those answers that you seek do?"

"My heart to rest." Umi closed his eyes "You're here, you answered my prey, am I allowed to ask?"

"Umi... Headmaster of the Mage Guild" the dragon looked serious at the mage keeping his stare down "Kneel." Umi flinched when he noticed his own legs fall to the ground, forced to oblige "Now... Why would you seek answers for your curiosity to the Dragon of War, are you looking down on me? Don't you think you should ask to other Gods?" he did giggle as his tail was slowly showing blue flames around the fur like it was his pure mana "I don't know for how long I can really tolerate all of you."

"Why... have you made Dan Heng this cursed?!" Umi exclaimed "His mother loved you and worshipped you since she was born... Why have you made her child suffer so much?! Why didn't you just..." the mage looked at his own hands clenching the grass of the ground "Take him where you took his mother and her sisters... He didn't deserve all that... horror"

"Bold of you, speaking like you're the father of that child". Umi opened up his eyes when he noticed the God not even flinching at his words or even getting mad "How... insolent" the smirk when Umi met his eyes... Oh, the mage felt his life was done "So amusing... Do you know what happens when one dares to stare into the God of War's eyes? You probably have felt it already the first time... yet..." in a blink he was in front of Umi, who opened up his eyes when the chin was held by the hand of the God, forcing him to look into his eyes resembling the stars... such a beautiful darkness full of those little lights "You still dare, you and Dan Heng do not deserve the gift of life if you stupidly give up your lives this easily without giving me a fight... anything..." the God looked at Umi "Suffering is what he needed." he left the chin of the mage, walking a little away from him.
