"Hold me more... I am... tired." Dan Heng muttered, as his blue eyes were slowly opening, enjoying Blade's arms tight around him "I am... sad" he was trembling a little, feeling disgusted by the horror... the blood in his clothes, hands, on the floor "Blade..."

"It's over... Dan Heng... You did well, you did well." Blade said as all the other Royal Generals were entering in the audience room and Jing Yuan was already taking command on the matters.

"Bring the traitor of the Crown to the dungeons" Jing Yuan spoke, locking his gaze on Haru, who opened up his eyes.

Dan Heng moved a little and his heart felt even lighter once he noticed the General alive... Their eyes met and Jing Yuan smiled softly, gifting him another moment of peace in his troubled heart.

Ah... You're all... alive... my family...

My... family?

"Traitor?! I WAS MEANT TO BE ON THE THRONE... DAN HENG... DAN HENG IT'S NOT TOO LATE... GET BACK ON YOUR SENSES!" Haru was trying to get himself free as two generals were calling out their units to assist in the imprisonment.

"Haru..." Dan Heng tried to turn, but he flinched when Blade pulled his head back to lay on his chest, kissing it a little like he wanted to hide him from everyone around them and everything that was happening "Blade..." he tried to speak but Blade held him tighter.

"It's alright, Dan Heng... My Emperor" Blade spoke softly, caressing his back "You've done so much... You must be... so tired, are you not?" he asked cupping his cheeks and Dan Heng looked at him with his teary eyes, totally surrender. It felt like his body was out of energies from all the fights and the emotional hits he has been through.

"I... I am... yes. Yes..." Dan Heng clenched the cloth wrapped around Blade's arms to release a little of his frustration, pain and sorrow. The duke nodded a little to then hold him and caress his hair, leaving a soft kiss on his head.

"Then... Let me take it from here" his voice was so calm and deep that Dan Heng totally didn't feel the hint of possessivness. Dan Heng ended up nodding a little and closing his eyes, enjoying the warm embrace that felt like a long lost lullaby to his ears "You can drop everything, I am here and this time... I won't let you get on another carriage, and if you do, then I will destroy it and keep you with me"

Dan Heng laughed a little even if he was still in tears "Y-yes... I knew you would say something like this... Ah... it is still you... Blade" he curled up on him and Blade smiled a little.

"Of course it is me... It is all over, your Majesty, let your loyal servants take care of the rest, you did it, I am truly... really proud of you. I adore you, Dan Heng" Blade kissed his head, wishing to get more, but he could feel Dan Heng still on the edge of crying more even if he was exhausted.

"Is it... really?" Dan Heng closed his eyes, feeling himself safe, closed in a bubble that was slowly taking him away from everything. He almost couldn't hear anything, just Blade's voice and it was a blessing.

"Of course it is" Blade's red eyes were glowing, like he was enjoying having his prey in his arms "Nothing else, no one else will hurt you, I will destroy everything just to keep you safe, whatever happens, my beloved"

"No more... destruction, please..." Dan Heng felt Blade's hands caressing his cheeks and felt himself burning when his lips almost touched his, but moved towards the ear.

"You almost got our love trinket dirty of those unworthy blood stains, Dan Heng" Blade sighed "I think I will make sure you will take responsability, will you?" he whispered with such a calm, warm voice. Blade was truly charmed, his eyes were getting blessed of beauty, he was eating his lover before the right time already.
