Tick... tock...
The Crown Prince... The majestic, the ethereal being living imprisoned within those walls... The soft and pure cursed one in his long azure and white hanfu, was keeping his head high with no sign of fear...
Villains, heroes...
Dan Heng was walking in his chamber with all the clocks ticking inside his mind. He frowned as the hand touched the little library he had close to his bed.
Side characters, support characters...
The Crown Prince sighed a little as the fingertips were moving on one of the novels he has read... so many times in all his lives...
Choices... destiny... After all, aren't we all in a novel... Am I not in a tragedy?
Dan Heng laughed with his eyes a little teary
Ah... A comedy... This... this is a comedy.
He tilted his head to then close his eyes.
Death... is the true ending for many of us... But not for me...
Dan Heng looked out his window, seeing the whole palace adorned with lights, lanterns...
The capital was full of lights, joyous to announce the incoronation.
Not for him, but his brother.
Everyone was waiting for his brother.
Dan Heng was meant to perish alone in his chamber just like... every other life.
What a fool...
The Crown Prince looked at himself in the mirror and fixed his long hair with the royal jewel adorning the front.
To believe... things could go different...
Dan Heng's blue eyes locked for a moment on the red earring and he smiled softly
Oh, my love...
I have fooled you, haven't I?
Will you be mad? Will you despise me?
Doesn't really matter...
I am sorry for the monster I have become.

"What do you mean he has pushed you away?!" Blade spoke madly, grabbing Fenir from the collar.
"Well, I tried to wave at him as I was floating in my immense beauty in front of his window, the Prince literally closed the curtains, he definitely wants us to burn him and his family" he whispered with an obvious tone to then smirk innocently "Shouldn't we end this act?"
Blade's lips did twitch "I swear, I will fucking kill you, you just had to tell him we're here. He probably doesn't even fucking know that"
"What can we do? The Emperor has put a whole fucking army in that side of the palace, they want to make sure he will be dead before the feast happens" Famir explained as he was fixing his own suit under Blade's annoyed stare.
"Ugh... I think I will have to go by myself..." he looked around the quartiers where he and the other high society families were sleeping before the big event.
Blade, his knights, father and mother were ready for the big feast. Of course it was supposed to be a disguise to let everyone believe they weren't planning anything.
"Easy to say, this goddamn place is a labyrinth and full of guards. It seems his Majesty is terrified..." Ying sighed annoyed to then look at Layla "Dear, do I look goofy in this suit?" he muttered making everyone roll their eyes.
