"Where is his Highness?" Blade asked to the maids who did giggle a little to then point at the library.

Two weeks did pass, and Blade and Dan Heng hadn't much of contact. Just the usual. Dan Heng was glad Blade was a little bit distant... maybe?

Truly the Duke of the North was busy on his own plans to tease always Dan Heng.

When Blade entered in the library he somehow felt weird when he saw Dan Heng laughing with Lady Irene, who was giggling, holding a novel in her hands.

He crossed his arms and laid by the walls, enjoying for a moment the sight of the Prince in his hanfu and long black hair loose. Those blue eyes, with the sun rays coming from the window, were looking even brighter.

He looked so stunning, just like a prince. He was seriously of an outstanding beauty, Blade knew it and felt it.

Blade was wearing a black victorian suit with finally a decent sword hanging from the belt. It was almost close to his typical clothes back to his homeland, but the fact he gained the title of the Crown Prince bodyguard, the Butler gave him new clothes and also a good sword only the Empire's guards could hold.

Blade was still feeling weird at the sight of the two giggling.

Dan Heng was really laughing and enjoying a lot Lady Irene's company.

Lady Irene for a moment looked around and blocked when she noticed Blade "Oh, Blade! What's wrong? Is there a reason why you're here?"

Dan Heng turned and looked at the Duke who coughed a little as he stepped closer.

"Apologies for the interruption" he kneeled and his red eyes locked on Dan Heng, who had his cheeks red. Was he mad? Or embarassed because Blade noticed he was liking his time with Lady Irene "But his Highness must come with me"

Lady Irene looked at Dan Heng who tilted his head, having no idea what Blade meant by that, but those red eyes locked on him were silently telling him not to try to avoid that.

"Thank you for the talk, Lady Irene, please, make sure to check that novel, I am sure you will like it" he smiled and Lady Irene nodded happily

"Thank you, your Highness! I am sure I will love it!"

Dan Heng stand up and Blade smirked, walking close to the Crown Prince, leading him outside the library under the woman's curious stare.

"What is it...?" Dan Heng spoke as he was walking with Blade

"It seems you wanted Lady Irene in your manor also for other reasons..." the Duke teased the Dan Heng, who didn't even look at him "... and not to protect her from your brother"

"Silence, where are you taking me?" Dan Heng asked and Blade stopped his feet to then check if there was anyone in the corridor of that side of the manor, to then push him against the wall and lean the hand near his shoulder to block him there "What..:?"

"What is your plan with her exactly?" he asked and Dan Heng tilted his head

"Plan...?" he laughed a little "Is it worth to plan when you know your days are counted? Please, I am just trying to give her a friend considering she's forced to stay in the manor" he spoke with an obvious tone to then lock his blue eyes on his

Blade crossed his arms, staying still close to his body like he didn't want to get him off the wall. Dan Heng showed again his stare full of emptiness like.... His eyes were shiny when with lady Irene, he even laughed... Then it looked like he did remember his destiny and just got back to force himself to be empty, ready to be stabbed by whoever.
