Islan ~~~~~~~~
I have been gait training for a month now and I can at least walk around for short distances at least. The pain in my back still heavily affects day to day activities. So I'm limited.
Speech therapy is the most challenging. In my head the words sound perfect but when they leave my mouth and I see the expressions of others, I know I sound stupid. So, I mostly just text out my words on the phone.
I can't close my eyes at night without hearing the sound of my jaw breaking, or my back crashing into that ground, my head smashing into the concrete. The scene plays over and over again. Flip at least tried to stop them but he's not a hero in this story. I didn't mention anything to Tre but I wanted them niggas head on a stick. Although, I was coming around it wasn't a guarantee I'd make a full recovery.
I possibly will always talk weird, walk funny and never be able to be fucked my Tre again. Just thinking about was all it once took to turn me on. Now he could put it in his mouth and it wouldn't do anything.

I waited in front of the rehab facility for Pea. My heart was kinda racing because I hadn't seen her in a long time. "Boom!" I turn to see her running up to me.
"Sissss!" I open my arms and she hugs my neck.
"I'm so happy to see you."
"Happy to see you too." We separate. "Look at you...gotta fah sho keep that iron on me na."
She smiled. "Sound like Islan."
"You sho he wanna see me?" I glance at the building.
She grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the entrance. "He wouldn't want anything more."
