"Why is that bandaged on your chest?" I ask as I'm holding my hand under the shower head.
He smiled shyly. "I didn't get you anything for Christmas."
"I wasn't expecting anything Pa...just seeing you all happy."
He grabs my wrist and spinning me around to hug me from behind. "No, I did something for you."
I feel his heart beating against my back. "You didn't spend the money Boon gave you did you? That was for you."
"Tre, hush. Just let me tell you."
"My bad. Go head." I can get ahead myself.
"Turn around." He lets go of me and I slowly turn to face him.
He touches the bandage on his chest and begins removing it. I cover my mouth in shock. "You didn't."
He nodded. "It's permanent baby. You permanent."
It's a tattoo that reads "Belongs to Tre. My first and only love."
"My name." Im in awe but I don't know how else to relax but poke out my lips and he kisses them.
"You know I never felt this way fah no one, right?"
I nod. "Me either." My eyes swell up with tears.
"Tre,"
"What?" You turned me into this emotional mess." He brings my face to his shoulder and caresses the back of my head and nape of my neck.
"I kinda feel like you was always emotional." He laughs a little.
"True but never to this degree. Your whole entire family just adopted me, with no hesitation. I love you all. This is more emotion than I can handle."
"We love you too." His hands make their way down my back to my ass. "We ain't switched in a minute."
"Honestly," I look up and take control of his face.
