Along the way they discover that friendship may not be the only thing keeping them close...

The next day approached fast as the group of six had grown more used to the intense sunlight of day.
"You wanted to go first. Now quit stalling. Mount Weather awaits" Clarke urged as her, Octavia, River, and Monty were all looking to see Finn swing over the lake with a vine he'd built.
"Aye, aye, captain" Finn made a hand gesture and got ready to jump, when Jasper stopped him in the last second.
"Wait. Let me" Jasper said, eyeing Octavia as he spoke. Finn smiled at him knowingly before handing over the vine.
"I knew there was a badass in there somewhere" Finn padded him on the back.
Jasper took a deep breath as he met Octavia's eye. "See you on the other side" He stated just before he jumped. "Whoo! Yeah!"
Everyone waited impatiently to see if he was going to make it onto the other side of the lake. Eventually Jasper let go, causing him to fly and land hard on the stone ground.
"We are apogee!" Jasper screamed in joy, holding up his hands.
"Yeah!" The whole group cheered for him.
"Yeah, you did it Jasper!" Clarke shouted with the biggest smile River's ever seen her wear in the small hours she'd known her.
River threw both her hands in the air. "Yeah! Way to go Jasper!"
Finn turned to face Clarke. "Let's go, princess. You're up" He informed her with a smile.
Clarke hesitated before taking the vine in her hands and prepared herself to jump.
"You can do it, Clarke!" Jasper encouraged her from the other side.
River's attention shifted to Clarke for about a second, before returning it back to Jasper. He was now holding up a sign which River couldn't quite read at the distance. Plus by the look of it, it was extremely old and dusty.
"Mount Weather!" Jasper screamed, jumping up and down in joy with the sign.
The whole group cheered for him as everyone was high on adrenaline.
