River and Bellamy's friendship gets tested as they get sent to Earth, along with one hundred other people.
Along the way they discover that friendship may not be the only thing keeping them close...

Accidentally breathing in dust from the floor River woke up in a startle. She coughed, attempting to get the dirt out of her lungs.
"River" Murphy whispered at her side.
She looked over at him and saw him smiling back at her. Confused, she furrowed her brows. That was until he eventually pointed to his cage's door — which was open. A wave of relief washed over River and a smile crept onto her pale lips.
Murphy sat straight into action and escaped his cage before heading to River's.
"Be careful" River mumbled, scared of making too much noise. Just then something caught River's eye.
A bundle of keys — lying on the floor behind Murphy.
River thought about it for a second.
Why would they let the keys lie out in plain sight for them to see? And wouldn't they have heard the keys landing on the floor?
Setting aside her conspiracy theories she was way too focused on escaping. She pointed to the keys and moments later Murphy had freed her. Both of them had trouble standing, but since Murphy had a bit better stance he held a hand around her waist to stabilise her as she had her arm thrown around his shoulder. River groaned once in a while as they attempted to find a way out.
Conveniently enough a door not far from where they'd been locked up was cracked open. Only slightly, yet enough for anyone to notice. It only added to River's suspicions, although she shrugged it off for now and let her full attention be on getting out of there.

The promise Octavia had made Bellamy that they would go out looking for River the following morning was ruined by a ship being launched from the Ark which ended up crashing due to its too fast speed.
Clarke had gathered a group to go out to see the ship, together with Bellamy. Even though his mind was stuck on River at all times, he had duty as a leader of the 100.
