Along the way they discover that friendship may not be the only thing keeping them close...

The fresh breeze met her nose as she breathed in, while closing her eyes. River thought back to the amount of times she'd tried to imagine how I'd be to actually breathe in a real fresh breath of air. Now she was finally able to and it felt phenomenal.
"River!"
Without warning Harper embraced River in a hug, almost sending her to the ground in the process.
"We're on earth! Can you believe it?!" Harper exclaimed as she jumped up and down, River with her, when suddenly something caught River's eye.
A big group of people had gathered in the middle of camp, all of them staring at Clarke Griffin, who looked as if she was in the middle of a speech.
"Oh, no" River breathed out.
Harper let River go and peered her head around, spotting the interaction happening.
"They're already arguing? Seriously?" Harper asked in disbelief, matching how River felt.
The two of them shared a look before making their way over to the interaction. It turned out it was about Mount Weather. River had not a single clue of what Mount Weather was. But Clarke Griffin certainly seemed to know.
"We need to get to Mount Weather. Not because the chancellor said so, but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we'll get, and the harder this'll be" Clarke explained to the teenagers.
"I've got a better idea" Bellamy spoke up suddenly. "You two go. Find it for us. Let the privileged people do the hard work for a change" He suggested which the crowd seemed to agree with.
"You aren't listening" Wells Jaha, the chancellor's son cut in. "You heard my father's message-"
Wells didn't get to finish his sentence before he was pushed by John Murphy.
"Look at this everybody. The chancellor of earth" Murphy joked, making a few people laugh.
Wells scoffed once he'd regained his balance. "You think that's funny?"
