•Grian POV•
I was supposed to be there at 11:00!! It's 12:43! How did my alarm run out of battery AGAIN?!

This was the second time this week my alarm clock stopped working, and come to think of it, I need a new one... But that's beside the point, I needed to get to ConCorp before I was spammed more than I already was.

I knew I would be chewed out heavily by Cub when I arrived, and I dreaded it, but I continued flying as fast as I could go.

I had already used a whole stack of rockets, and needed a new stack, but luckily I already had them ready in my offhand.

So I reached ConCorp in record time. Nine minutes isn't so bad if I do say so myself... But I believe Cub and Scar weren't very happy about me being so late.

I was right about Cub lecturing me, because I got a whole entire speech about being late and irresponsible.
But luckily after that, we finally started business.

"So I'm here because you need a prankster, right?" I asked already knowing the answer, as I'd signed up for this job after I saw an advertisement for it. It had read: Prankster needed for ConCorp, per prank 10 diamonds.

I hadn't really needed the extra diamonds, but it looked like a good excuse for some good pranks, so I didn't hesitate in signing up.

"Yes, that is correct." Scar smiled at me with his goofy lopsided smile. "We were hoping you'd sign up! You are very good at making and executing pranks!!"

"Scar, don't tell him that!! We can't have him think we desperately needed him!!!" Cub shushed at his business partner.

I chuckled and bowed, smiling up at them with an unsettling smile. "Well it's nice to be recognized and appreciated like this gentleman. Thank you very much."

Scar giggled while Cub sighed, being the more serious businessman out of the two.

I rose as Cub said, "how about we talk further in the other room, Scar needs to keep an eye on Jellie."

I nodded, excited to see some more of ConCorp. I was particularly excited to see more of the architecture as it was beautiful and quite unique.

We walked through one or two hallways, both with supporting arches and support beams, but of unique materials and design.

As I marveled and walked at the same time I almost bumped into a stone column with engravings in it. But luckily Scar pulled me out of the way before I smashed face first into the stone.

"Thanks," I said chuckling at myself.

Scar joined in, laughing at my antics. "No problem, G."

At that moment Cub spoke up as well, "we're here!"

The room was like from a fantasy! It was cluttered with various things, but not in a bad way, it was in a way that made it look magical.

The wall across us was just one full bookshelf, with thousands of books adorning it. The wall to the right had various potions, bottles and trinkets on it, making it hard to focus on just one thing. The wall to the left had a small brewery of sorts with a caldron and brewing stand, probably being where all the potions came from.
