Engfa led Charlotte out of the auction room, the sound of chatter and music slowly fading away as they walked down a long hallway. The silence between them was deafening, only broken by the sound of their footsteps echoing on the tiled floor.

Charlotte followed Engfa silently down the hall, glancing around curiously at their surroundings. The hallway was as opulent as the auction room, with high ceilings and expensive-looking artwork on the walls. It was a stark contrast to the dingy room she had been held captive in before.

Engfa walked silently next to Charlotte as her men handed over the money to the auction house staff. Once the transaction was complete, Engfa turned to Charlotte with a small smile, gesturing towards her car waiting at the exit.

"Please, come with me," Engfa said quietly, her voice low and pleasant. "I've been searching for you for a long time."

Charlotte felt a shiver run down her spine as Engfa's words sunk in. She hesitated for a moment, the full weight of the situation hitting her. But what choice did she have? Reluctantly, she followed Engfa to the car and sat down silently as the car pulled away from the auction house.

"W-where are we going?," Charlotte couldn't help but ask.

Engfa looked at Charlotte's reflection in the car window for a moment before responding. "We're going to a safe place, don't worry." Engfa's voice was soft and soothing, but Charlotte couldn't bring herself to relax completely just yet.

After a brief pause, Engfa spoke again, her voice tinged with a hint of curiosity. "Charlotte, are you scared of me?"

Charlotte hesitated for a moment before nodding slightly, her voice barely above a whisper. "Y-yes... I-i am," she admitted softly.

Engfa smiled understanding, her eyes softening as she looked at Charlotte. "I understand," she said gently. "It's natural to feel nervous in this situation, especially after everything you've been through. But I assure you, I have no intention of harming you."

Charlotte couldn't help but voice her question, her curiosity getting the better of her. "Why did you buy me?" she asked quietly, her voice tinged with a hint of vulnerability.

Engfa looked at Charlotte for a moment, her expression softening as she spoke. "I've been looking for you for a while now," she said, her voice filled with a hint of mystery. "And when I saw you up on that stage, I knew I had to have you before I lose you again."

Charlotte couldn't help but feel conflicted as Engfa spoke. On one hand, there was a part of her that was still frightened by the situation, but on the other hand, she felt a sense of familiarity towards Engfa. After all, they had been together back in Miss Grand Thailand 2022. The whole thing felt surreal, like some kind of twisted dream.

"Is this real?," Charlotte found herself whispering, her voice filled with a mixture of fear and confusion. Engfa's eyes snapped towards her, her expression growing more serious. "Of course it is," she said firmly. "Charlotte, I won you fair and square. You're mine now."

Charlotte shivered at Engfa's words, the reality of the situation sinking in like a cold weight in her stomach. She was Engfa's property now, bought and paid for like some kind of object. What was Engfa planning to do with her? What did being "Engfa's" even mean?

Charlotte found herself unable to keep from asking again, the question burning in her mind. "But why me?," she managed to say, her voice filled with a hint of desperation. "What do you want from me?"

Engfa chuckled softly, a sly smile playing at the corners of her lips. "What I 'want'?," she echoed, raising an eyebrow. "Charlotte... I already have you. Isn't that enough?"

Engfa's words sent another shiver down Charlotte's spine. There was something about Engfa's confidence and determination that was both intimidating and intriguing. But Charlotte couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it than that. Engfa had said she had been looking for her? That suggested this wasn't just some random spur-of-the-moment decision.

However, brushing that aside, Charlotte took a deep breath, working up the courage to ask the question that had been weighing on her mind since they left the auction house. "Will you...ever let me go?" she asked quietly, looking up at Engfa with a mixture of hope and despair.

Engfa's eyes widened slightly at the question, her expression hardening. "I bought you," she said firmly. "You're mine now. Why would I let you go?

Charlotte felt a wave of despair wash over her at Engfa's words. She had hoped there might be some way out of this nightmare, some loophole that would allow her to be freed. But Engfa seemed absolutely determined to keep her.

"Please," Charlotte whispered, desperation creeping into her voice. "My grandmother...she needs me. She'll be worried sick."

Engfa's expression softened slightly at the mention of Charlotte's grandmother, but she shook her head. "Your grandmother will be fine," she said firmly. "I'll make sure she's taken care of. But you...you're mine now."

Engfa's chauffeur pulled the car up in a grand driveway in front of a large, gated estate. The gates opened automatically, revealing a sweeping lawn and a huge mansion beyond. Charlotte felt a sense of dread wash over her as they pulled up in front, her mind racing with thoughts of escape.
As soon as the car stopped, Charlotte took her chance: she lunged for the door and pushed it open, scrambling out onto the gravel driveway.

Engfa's bodyguards moved quickly to intercept Charlotte, grabbing her arms and pulling her back towards the car. Engfa stepped out of the car, her expression unreadable. "I thought we talked about this," she said softly, her voice tinged with disappointment. "You're mine now, Charlotte. You can't escape. It's time to accept that."

As Engfa's bodyguards dragged Charlotte into the mansion, tears streamed down her face, her voice shaking with despair. "Engfa," she sobbed, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I-I don't understand," Charlotte pleaded with Engfa, her voice choking with tears.

"I never did anything wrong to you," she hiccupped, her chest heaving with emotion.

"We got along so well during the contest, I thought we were friends. We were good friends! Why are you doing this to me?!"

Engfa's expression darkened, her eyes narrowing slightly. "You did something Char," she said softly. "You left. You left me."
