Writing a new chap just after waking up😭

Engfa had allowed Charlotte to explore the mansion, but not before laying down some rules.
"This is your new home, Char. So no escaping," Engfa had said firmly.
"No calling the police, it won't do any good anyway. No trying to hurt yourself or anyone else, and most importantly, just be good and stay safe."As Charlotte walked through the mansion, she encountered a few of the staff members, all of whom were polite and friendly with her. However, she could tell there was a hint of fear in their eyes every time they spoke to her. She could only assume that Engfa had warned them not to get too close with her.
Charlotte wandered through the luxurious halls of the mansion, her eyes widening in awe at the opulent surroundings.
There was a grand library, a spacious ballroom, a fully-equipped gym, and even a pool with a sauna. Charlotte felt a sense of awe and wonder as she explored every corner of the house, admiring the expensive artwork on the walls and the luxurious furniture that filled each space.
However, her sense of direction left much to be desired, and she soon found herself hopelessly lost in the maze-like mansion.
"This place is huge," she muttered, spinning in place as she tried to figure out where she was. "I swear I've walked past that painting at least three times now..."
As Charlotte continued to wander aimlessly through the halls, she found herself walking in circles more and more often. She could have sworn she had passed that same vase in the corner at least five times already.
"This is ridiculous," she muttered, feeling frustrated as she spun in place once again, trying to get her bearings. "This hallway looks exactly like the last one. I must be going crazy."
.
Engfa sat in her office, monitoring the CCTV cameras scattered throughout the mansion. She had been keeping tabs on Charlotte as she explored the house, making sure she's not getting into any trouble.
Engfa leaned back in her chair and stifled a chuckle as she continued watching Charlotte onscreen, walking in circles and looking more and more frustrated by the minute.
"She looks so cute when she's frustrated," Engfa muttered, a small smile playing on her lips as she watched Charlotte spin around in place yet again.
"Poor thing's completely lost. She looks like she's about to start banging her head against the wall," Engfa muttered, shaking her head in amusement.
After watching Charlotte struggle through the CCTV cameras for a few more minutes, Engfa decided she couldn't stand it any longer. She shook her head and chuckled to herself as she got up from her desk.
"That girl still has such a terrible sense of direction," Engfa muttered to herself, a small smile playing on her lips. "I can't just let her wander around in circles forever, she'll get so dizzy she'll pass out."
With a final chuckle, Engfa left her office and headed in the direction where Charlotte was wandering aimlessly.
.
On the other hand...
Charlotte gasped when she suddenly found herself outside the house, surrounded by greenery and a few guards patrolling the area.
As soon as her eyes adjusted to the brightness of the outdoors, she was met with a bewildered guard staring back at her, clearly not expecting to see her.
.
As Engfa walked through the halls searching for Charlotte, she heard a commotion coming from the entrance of the house. She frowned in confusion and quickened her pace, wondering what was going on.
And there she was, Charlotte, standing outside the door, facing off with one of the guards, both of them staring at each other with confused expressions. With their brows furrowed and their heads tilted, almost like they were in a staring contest for a few moments, both of them unsure of what to do.
Engfa couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of Charlotte and the guard's stare off. She approached them, her footsteps echoing on the pavement.
"Well, isn't this a sight?" Engfa said, her voice filled with amusement. "What in the world are you two doing?"
Charlotte let out a yelp in surprise when she heard Engfa's voice behind her and turned around to see Engfa standing beside her with her arms crossed and a bemused expression on her face.
"Engfa!" she exclaimed, flailing her arms wildly as she tried to explain herself. "I swear, it's not what it looks like! I didn't even know I was outside, I was just exploring the house and then I just sort of ended up here, I swear I didn't try to escape or anything. This place is just so big and confusing, so I accidentally stumbled outside! It's not my fault your house is so confusing!" Charlotte rambled.
Engfa raised an eyebrow, her lips twitching as she struggled to contain her laughter. The guard next to them looked equally perplexed, his eyes flicking back and forth between Charlotte and Engfa, clearly unsure of what to do.
"You're blaming my house for your lack of sense of direction, huh?" Engfa couldn't resist teasing her a bit. "So you accidentally stumbled outside, did you? I'm sure it had nothing to do with your lack of sense of direction at all. It's all my house's fault that you just happened to find a door and walk through it."
Charlotte nodded fervently, her expression serious as she tried to defend herself. "Definitely!" she exclaimed.
Engfa couldn't help but chuckle at Charlotte's insistence on blaming the house, not her lack of sense of direction. "I see," she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "So my house is the problem, huh? It's just too confusing, and that's why you accidentally walked outside?"
Charlotte nodded eagerly, a look of determination on her face. "Yes, exactly! Your house is so huge and sprawling, it's like a maze! No wonder I got lost and accidentally stepped outside. It's not my fault at all, it's all your house's fault."
"Oh, really?" she asked. "So it's the house's fault that you can't tell your left from your right?"
Charlotte pouted in response to Engfa's playful jab. "Hey, that's not fair!" she protested.
"I can tell my left from my right just fine!" she protested, her voice rising defiantly.
"I told you! Your house is just way too big! Anyone would get lost exploring this enormous place, it's not just me!"
Engfa chuckled, enjoying the sight of Charlotte's increasingly desperate attempts to defend herself. "Yeah, of course, it's all the house's fault. It's not like you've been getting lost everywhere in the house for the past hour or anything."
"Hey!" Charlotte protested, her cheeks blushing slightly in embarrassment at Engfa's words. "I have not been getting lost everywhere! I just...had a few minor setbacks, that's all!"
Engfa rolled her eyes, her smirk widening. "Minor setbacks? Is that what you call it when you walk in a circle for half an hour straight?"
"Well, I..." she started, but couldn't come up with a response. She knew Engfa had a point, but she was stubborn enough not to admit it.
"It's still not my fault!" she mumbled, pouting again.
"Of course it's not," Engfa smirked at her, clearly amused by her stubbornness.
Just as Engfa and Charlotte were in the middle of their friendly banter, a car suddenly pulled up in front of the house, interrupting them.
Engfa turned her head to the car, her smirk faltering slightly as she recognized the vehicle.
"Oh, great," she muttered under her breath.
As the car door opened and a tall figure stepped out, Engfa let out a sigh. It was her older sister,
"Faye."
