Engfa left the base, her mind still preoccupied with her encounter with Charlotte.

She got into her car, her mind set on preparing to find the younger girl.

She raced back to the mansion, stopping infront of the house in lightning speed. Engfa's mind races as she walks back to her headquarters, her fists clenched tightly. Her mind was still reeling from the encounter earlier, the image of Charlotte's face and the aftermath of the trap playing incessantly in her mind.

She moved to the far end of the room, opening a cabinet and taking out a small, sleek tracking device. Carefully, she affixes it to her belt. Then she turns to the weapons rack, her eyes scanning over the various guns.

She selected a few, checking to make sure they're loaded, before holstering them to her body.

Once she's assembled everything she needed, she pulls out her phone and dialed Max's number.

The line rang once... then Max's voice answered, his tone as casual as ever. "What's up, boss?"

Engfa's voice is serious as she spoke into the phone.

"Max, you done with the clean up?" she asked, her words crisp and to the point.

On the other line, Max replied, his voice still calm. "Yeah, boss. Done and done."

Engfa noded to herself, her expression grim, but there's a hint of satisfaction in her voice.

"Good," she said simply, her mind already moving to the next step.
