Yeosang's heat, finally, Yeosang's period of suffering only lasted one more day. A day during which San only left his side to go to the bathroom and the kitchen to cook for them. They stayed huddled together, wrapped in the omega sheets. San had entrusted his belongings to Yunho so that the work could continue despite his absence. The alpha's fingers gently caressed Yeosang's neck and this gave him an immense feeling of security, happiness and pleasure.

"How do you feel?"

"I feel good."

San put a kiss on his hair.

"I hate the idea, but you're going to have to go back to Seonghwa to complete your initiation."

"I know."

"Do you feel ready to go back?"

"Yes, I do."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure, I have some scores to settle with Yeonjun and I have to finish this initiation if I want to be able to join your team."

San emitted an amused breath, "After what you've been through, heard and seen, do you still want to join my team?"

"I want to be with you."

Yeosang rubbed his nose against the mobster's jaw to support his words.

"I'll have to find you a position on my team then." The omega purr of happiness.

"I can't wait."

A short silence settled between them.

"I will gladly go back to sleep beside you, sweetheart, but you and I have work to do."

"Another five minutes?"

Yeosang felt a new kiss on his hair and smiled.

"Some other time, okay?"

"Hmm" grunted the omega.

He could have sworn that he had managed to convince the alpha to stay with him a little longer. Yeosang sighed before stretching and straightening up.

"Got it, can you drop me off?

"Do you really think I was going to let you take the bus to get there?"

The young man couldn't help smiling, his alpha was protective. Wait... His alpha? No, no, not yet.

The duo got ready, took time for lunch before heading to The School. They waited for Seonghwa, whom beta at the front desk had warned, in the lobby. The blond man soon joined them.

"I'm happy to see that you are well Yeosang, are you sure you're ready to start again?

I'm going to have to make you work harder than the others to catch up."

"I'm ready, I can start right away" Seonghwa glanced at San and San nodded.

"Okay, that's fine, will you put your things upstairs and join us in the room?"

"You got it."

Yeosang turned to San and they looked at each other for a moment with the alpha pulling the brown-haired boy to him to kiss him tenderly.

"If there's anything, call me."

"I will."

The young man held back a squeak of distress when he saw Levi leave. He had to stay strong if he wanted to earn his place with the alpha.
