If you've never felt alive
When you've felt numb
For so long
That you feel no pain
Or happiness
You just keep going down
In a spiral of darkness
That you created
In your mind
On the outside you're happy
You're smiling
You're fine
On the inside you're numb
With a lack of emotions
With no soul
And a black heart
You've been dead inside
For so long
You barely remember what it feels like
To be alive
If there ever was such a time
