Opposites

We're complete opposites

I know that

You're so attractive

And I'm so me

You're naturally happy

You're naturally okay

I'm busy faking it

While your laughing all day

And I watch you

With all your friends

Wondering why you're single

When you have all of them

Because most of them are girls

And they're all so pretty

They're all so beautiful

They're all so much like you

And then there's me

And I can't compete with their looks

And their charm

But when you look at me

I feel so small

And when you hug me

I just want to melt in your arms

But I know it can't happen

There's no way you'll like me

This is just a phase

Right?

There's no way that you feel the same

Because we are complete opposites

You are gorgeous

I am not

You are so

Not me

I'm so ugly

And depressed

While you seem to live

Worry free

I cannot like you

Why must I like you

Why

You are so amazing and sweet and kind

While I fake everything

And act strong when I'm really

Broken glass

And I want to push you away

So you don't cut yourself

But I can't

And that scares me

We are complete opposites

And I don't deserve

To have you

Even as a friend
