Head and heart

I'm so done.

I can't do this anymore.

You start up my emotions,

And then walk out the door.

I'm not like Cinderella,

I don't have a fairy godmother.

I can't just get prettier over night

I'm sorry but, you know I'm right

I'm done waiting...

Waiting for a prince to save me.

I'm going to escape,

And find my prince myself.

He's probably out there,

Stuck in a tree,

Or chasing down the wrong girl.

I refuse to listen to,

"A dream is a wish your heart makes"

And,

"Listen to your heart".

Maybe when the time is right

But not when my heads telling me

To "move on"

And my hearts telling me

To "hold on"

I've given you chance after chance.

More than I can count

You've walked away

From every single one

And we've both had

So many doubts

So now I'm

Gonna shove you out.

Sure a part of me,

Will still love you.

It's natural bound to happen.

But there is someone out there,

That I will love more.

So let's stay friends.

Friends we shall be.

Best friends and Ex-lovers.

Yeah, sounds like you and me.

So don't you feel bad.

I'm almost over you.

It's okay to be with her.

I'm happy for you.
