I walk silently among strangers

Not making a sound

Everyone is oblivious

To the sadness I'm feeling now

I walk silently among strangers

Smirking to myself

Because my acting is so good

My acting is so great

That the strangers don't notice

The smile that I fake

I walk silently among strangers

While there's screaming in my head

Because my demons are hungry

And need to be fed

I walk silently among strangers

Until one came up to me

She asked if I was okay

If I was fine

If I was happy

I walked silently among strangers

Until someone finally noticed me

The smallest little strawberry

She came and helped me

Now we walk silently among strangers

But now I'm helping her

Because she has her demons

And it just seems to get worse

We walk silently among strangers

Because the cycle never ends

And if the madness ever ended

Then I would've forgot where it began

We made it to 1K reads!!!! Thank you guys so much I have no idea why there are people reading this but OMG thank you soooo much

I might be ending this poem book soon. I'm thinking about ending this one at 45 chapters. I might start another poem book though but, I feel like it's time to end this one so the last poem on here is going to be at the end of December just in time for the new year. haha. I'll start my new poem book at the beginning of January. So if us wanna stick around with me a bit longer that's where I'll be
