Why I Write

Well my English teacher showed me this exercise where we basically write for five minutes without stopping, and that's what I'll be doing. I'll adjust spelling and grammar later, but for now, here it goes. Today I did basically nothing at all. I went on YouTube and watched SourceFed, a news outlet focused on comedy (mostly pop culture) that I dream of working for as a host, and that's about it. Why not talk about why I choose to make people laugh? I guess we'll do that right now. OK. Why do I want to make people laugh? Because no one was really there to make me laugh. I had friends for that I guess, but no one was there who went out of their way to actually try to make me smile. I decided to be that person for others, and I guess that's what led me to be a practitioner in comedy. Laughing, to me, is key (see what I did there) in life. When we laugh, we express joy. Sometimes we laugh about the struggles we went through, and we realize how we've grown from that. It was the inspiration to this whole profile and work I guess. This will probably be my only work on here. Well my alarm told me I'm past my time, but let's write anyway. It may be my only work on here, but at the same time it'll also be a large collection of what I aspire to become. What I think is so amazing about Wattpad is that no matter what, authors will find their audience because people always find what they're looking for. Comedy is my outlet to express my feelings about life. Sometimes I won't understand it, and I'll tell it off for whatever reason, but for the rest of the time, I'll be looking at it and I'll be wondering what people could've done to deserve something so incomprehensible.
