College is very different from high school. It's definitely a better fit for me than high school was. In high school there was a lot of hand holding especially when it came to elective classes. The only exception was band where you were responsible for your own shit (which I got done.) College has a different feel to it. They greatly care about your success, but not so much on making sure you get your work done. You're in charge of the amount of success you achieve. I love it. They let you find your own path. Something I've been desperate on finding. This "good luck and fuck off" attitude is what I've been searching for. Trust me. I know what I'm doing. I don't need another middle aged man/woman telling me how and when to do a certain assignment. You don't have to worry about me if you tell me what you want. Right now I'm just sitting here next to the flagpole and everyone's either talking to people or on their phones. Either way, people are their own people. There are no deadlines to meet other than their class papers. Other than that, any decision they make is theirs. This leeway is my freedom. Freedom is a weird thing. We all want it, but we don't know what we want to do with it. Like I said before, I want to be the cause of laughter with my comedy with my freedom. Now it's your turn to decide what to do with your own freedom.
