The designs for Cal and Raya's wedding wardrobe are pretty much done except for Raya's ceremonial gown. Rough sketch pa lang ang meron ako sa ngayon. I'm planning to draft atleast three designs and let her choose one.

Mauuna ang grand opening namin sa Cebu kaysa sa kasal nila Raya kaya't mismong designs lang muna ang tinatapos namin sa ngayon. We'll start creating the actual suits and dresses after the event in Cebu since there are still lots of time before the wedding.

"I miss you.." I muttered while hugging my pillow tighter, wishing it was the man on my iPad screen right now.

Breaktime ni Austin ngayon kaya't nakakapag-facetime kami. This has been our routine simula nang maassign na siya sa night shift. We barely see each other these days and we don't get to eat dinner together anymore.

"I miss you too.." mahinang sabi niya habang namumula ang tainga.

Nakarinig ako ng mga kantyaw mula sa background and he instantly shot a glare on his far left. Hindi rin nagtagal ay lumipat siya ng pwesto. I confirmed he went out of their locker room when I saw him closing a door from behind.

"I won't be able to spend time with you this weekend.." he sighed.

Aniya ay uuwi siya sa kanila dahil binyag ng pamangkin niya sa pinsan. Apparently he's one of the godfathers.

"How about samahan kita?" I suggested "We haven't been spending much time together.."

He seemed hesitant at first since he's worried I won't be able to get the weekend rest I need if I go. Ngunit sa huli ay nakumbinsi ko rin siya.

"Pupunta ba sila Tita?" tukoy ko sa Mama niya while we're on our way to his cousin's house.

"No... May groupwork daw si Adam at si Tim mukhang may kadate," he scoffed.

I chuckled and teased him for being lame and unsupportive. His relatives welcomed us with enthusiasm. Nameet ko na ang ilan sa kanila noong isama rin ako ni Austin nakaraang ginanap ang fiesta rito sa lugar nila.

"Hindi mo naman sinabing isasama mo si Solace, Austin!" ani ng kapatid ng Mom ni Austin. We had a little review of his relatives' names on our way here but I can't believe I'm still getting them all mixed up right now!

"Solace, halika! Naku!" Austin's cousin Karen has so much energy when she led me inside their house. She's been super interested in fashion and what I do for a living eversince I first saw her last time. I tried to keep up with her battery the whole time she was animatedly chatting with me. First time ko rin makita ang baby nila dahil buntis pa lang siya noon.

"Her pambinyag clothes are super cute!" I cheekily commented. Naalala ko bigla ang dala naming regalo dahil may kasama rin doong clothes bukod sa toys. Sinenyasan ko si Austin tungkol doon dahil mukhang nasa sasakyan pa sa labas.

Bago mag-alas diyes ay naghanda na silang pumunta sa simbahan. There has just been a problem dahil pumasada raw yung inarkilang jeep. It seems like there has been a miscommunication.

"Pwede pong gamitin yung sasakyan ko.." suhestiyon ko. "Kasya po siguro hanggang pito.."

Mangiyakngiyak si Karen habang niyayakap ako at nagpapasalamat sa akin. Austin will be driving while Karen and her husband along with their parents are riding with him. Yung ibang ninong at ninang naman daw pala ay magcocommute na lang at didiretso na sa simbahan. Hindi na rin ako nagtangka pang sumama dahil hindi na rin naman kakasya sa sasakyan.

"Will you be okay here, though?" ani Austin.

"Of course.." I gave him a reassuring smile kahit nag-aalangan din. It would be my first time to be left alone with his relatives. "Isang oras lang naman ng binyag, di ba?"
