The teleporting turns out to be even more nauseating than the first time. As soon as the two men loaded into the game successfully, they groaned, feeling a bit sicker than before. Guess the System can't help them with that, unfortunately.
Kaveh: "I think I'm about to puke-"
Alhaitham: "Don't do that on me, please."
Kaveh: "Never in my entire adulthood did I ever hear you say that word- *sudden gag*"
Alhaitham, looking around: "... Are we loaded into the game? Our surroundings are still black and voidless."
Kaveh: "I don't know...!"
JULY 12, [][][][].
Alhaitham: "So the game also sets up the timeline?"
Kaveh: "Oh, it's 3 days after my birthdate!"
Alhaitham: "That's what you come to?"
Kaveh: "Hey, why not? It's satisfying to see a date close to your birthdate, right?"
I didn't want to put this up on reddit just for it to be called a piece of fiction
I don't even know where to start
Excuse my lack of good storytelling skills
Kaveh: "Hey, not everyone's that great in something they lack in! I'll appreciate your best, unlike a certain Haravatat smartass here."
Alhaitham: "I won't judge, since it's a game that is already developed. Even if I did, I don't believe the creator of the game would know."
Kaveh's thoughts: '... Are your bolts loose?? If the creator of the game won't know, then feel free to judge- actually no, don't entertain the thought. I'm not listening to another lecture with a bookworm...!'
Kaveh: "Yeah, sure."
It was the middle of the summer
My parents had left for that weekend due to a work trip
Which meant I was all by myself for the weekend
Kaveh: "How old is this person by the way?"
Alhaitham: "Old enough, if the parents allow their child to live alone."
Also, I feel like I do have to mention that my sleep schedule was really messed up around this time
I would sleep and get up at just about any time of the day
Though I did plan on fixing that
Alhaitham: "Unlike a certain overworked Kshahrewar here."
Kaveh: "Oh shut up, asshole."
The sound of a digital alarm clock rings through the voidless blackness, and the two men slowly 'awakens' in a small bed fit for one person. To their left are cabinets and closets, the right being just a bedside drawer that had the clock blaring. The bedroom wasn't dark, as it has a dim light that brightens the room enough to see. Kaveh, aware of laying next to the dazed Alhaitham, suddenly threw off the covers and immediately got up from bed. The watch on his wrist then lit up -including Alhaitham's, although he's still somewhat drowsy and had not noticed it- and it opened up a small window that says:
I woke up at around 8 after a nap that evening.
Kaveh: "We're in the game, Alhaitham! Oh, interesting room... I have never seen such furniture that somehow fits the bland aesthetic..."
