The two men slowly wakes up, the alarm on the protagonist's phone ringing. They appear to have slept by the streaming table, the screen having a pop-up window. Next to the monitor is a big green box.
Kaveh, yawning and winced: "Oh- my arms... they're numb as hell!"
Alhaitham, having slept on the floor: "I thought you'd be used to it considering your atrocious all-nighters back at home."
Kaveh: "Your home, not mine!" **huffs** "Oh? There's a box here."
Alhaitham, stretching his arms to relieve his backache: "What box?"
Kaveh, looking at the screen as he held the box: "'No current threats? A virus was not detected...?' Did the protagonist buy this to scan the monitor for malfunctions?"
Alhaitham, turning off the alarm from the protag's phone: "Hm." **reads the alarm message** "10:00 and it's trash pickup day..."
Kaveh, snorting: "Chores, huh?"
Collect garbage from the bins around the house.
You have a new message
Alhaitham, pulling up the chat logs: "We got a new message."
Kaveh: "Let me see."
Unknown: There's no use blocking me just listen to what I say.
Kaveh: "So even after blocking this guy he finds another way to contact the protagonist. Stubborn, wouldn't you say?"
Alhaitham: "Let's get the trash out, Kaveh."
Kaveh, rolling his eyes: "Yeah, let's."
The two men gathered all the trash from the apartment room. Soon enough there's a big white trash bag full of trash.
Take garbage to the trash pick-up area.
Kaveh, opening the front door, happy to be outside: "Out we go!"
Alhaitham, picking up the bag and hauled it along: "Where is the... pick-up area?"
Kaveh, looking down only to regret it: "Eugh... so high. Uh, I guess we'll find out?"
Looking to their left, they notice how long the breezeway is. What is more strange to them is that there's blue fabric or some sort to the apartment room next door. The door was left ajar.
Kaveh: "Is someone moving in??"
Alhaitham, walking to the end of the breezeway: "Perhaps."
They reached the elevator and entered. They went down.
Kaveh: "I remember this kind of mechanic is used in Port Ormos as well."
Alhaitham: "It's more confined than those in Port Ormos."
Kaveh: "Fontaine has them too, similar to this."
Alhaitham, raising a brow: "You've been to Fontaine?"
Kaveh, shrugging: "No, but I've heard of it through some people."
They reached the bottom floor, and the doors opened. On the other side stood a man in a blue shirt and cap. He holds a huge box and stares at them as they awkwardly walk out.
Alhaitham, side-eyeing Kaveh: "It should be out these doors, right?"
Kaveh, awkward: "Probably? Let's find out."
