Hey there, this is [][][][] here! You're here to read this, are you? Ahh, duh. Why else? Such a dumb question on my part! My bad.

You get the gist of what the prologue contains if you read the other parts (Fears to Fathom) and (The Closing Shift), surely. If not, I'll break it down bit by bit.

First, my System will open up a portal between the dark vast void and a certain spot in Teyvat. Second, it will 'absorb' the two players we need into the void! I say 'absorb' and not 'suck in,' and I think you dirty lil' readers know why. If not, good for you!

Third, we explain to them what the game consists of... which should be happening right now! I'll be logging off now. I just feel like I should speak up to get your attention. I do like at least some attention, you know? Well not all the time but it'll be nice to know someone else's existence...

Meanwhile...

The System: "You are playing the game similar to the style of the previous game you had experienced. (The Closing Shift, for a memory boost) This game is called Parasocial. You are playing as a female who is streaming as a V-tuber in her apartment room. She streams of herself playing games while on camera where a number of people would watch her."

Kaveh, who is already used to dealing with what they are meant to do: "Quick question- what's a V-tuber?"

The System: "A V-tuber is someone who uses a virtual model or avatar made by computer graphics and or programs. It can capture the real person's movements and transfer that to the model who will do the exact moves."

Alhaitham: "So an online version of the real person."

Kaveh: "And people are allowed to watch her... stream?"

The System: "It is a part of the job as a V-tuber. They can let people watch them while streaming whatever they plan on doing for the viewers."

Kaveh: "Huh. Quite an interesting career to have."

The System: "It seems to be more of a hobby from where I see it. Speaking for [][][][]."

Kaveh: "... Who??"

The System, pretended the question had never been said: "I will send you two in. Good luck."

Without another word, the two men are once again forced into another game... The System then disconnected from the blank world of darkness, leaving nothing behind its wake.
