Zach wipes the little bit of red lip tint off his lips before it dries. He looks at himself in the mirror and smiles. There are no stains on his teeth. Perfect. The small diamond on his necklace matches the golden earrings he stole from his mom.
Jack didn't tell him where he would take him, just that he should dress nice. Zach knows that Jack will ask him to be his boyfriend today. Therefore, he must look his very best.
Dark blue slacks and a white crew neck knitted polo shirt adorn his body. He pairs it with a caramel belt and white sneakers.
Zach hears his doorbell ring and stuffs his wallet, phone, and keys on his pockets. He opens the door and smiles.
Jack's smile drops when he takes a good look at him. He lowers the bouquet and lets it rest on his limp hand. His eyes are wide. It appears he has short-circuited.
"Hey." He greets him as he leans against the threshold of his door.
The curly head was wearing a white dress shirt with a mauve pink vest and light brown slacks. His favourite colours on him look even better. Jack was wearing his glasses, and his curls were styled to perfection.
"H-hey." He finally greets him. Jack looks away and clears his throat. He nervously looks back at him and gives him yet another peonies bouquet. "I... you, uhm... Gosh, I feel like a fool." He chuckles nervously.
Zach gracefully takes the bouquet.
"You look... wow." Jack can not stop looking at him.
The brunet giggles. "Didn't you say to look my best?" He teases.
"I-" He pauses. "I didn't say look like a freaking model." He scoffs."The audacity."
Zach moves closer to him and presses a kiss onto his cheek. "Does that make up for the damages caused?" He pouts.
Jack suddenly grabs him by his shirt and tugs him closer. He wraps one arm around his waist and rests a hand on the nape of his neck as he finally connects their lips.
The brunet hums into it but taps on his chest to make him stop. They part. "I have neighbours." He kindly reminds him while sporting a cute smile.
Jack opens his mouth to say: fuck the neighbours, but what comes out of his mouth is: "Let me be your boyfriend."
Zach pauses and laughs for brief moments. He rests his free shaky hand on his shoulder. "Only if I can be your boyfriend as well." He smiles widely.
"Please." He mumbles.
The brunet giggles and moves to cup his face with one hand. "Don't boyfriends kiss?" Jack nods. "Then kiss me." He smiles.
Jack slowly leans in and breathes in his sweet aroma. Gosh, I love the way he smells. Zach, impatient, connected their lips together and kissed him slowly, humming as he could taste the taste of mint. The brunet, still a bit of a beginner to the whole kissing scene, parts the kiss breathless.
The curly head leans his forehead on his."I was going to ask you after dinner, but you look too damn beautiful to not ask you now." He confesses.
Zach chuckles. "It gets the pressure off of you, I assume." He nuzzles against his forehead.
"I was fully ready to ask you after we ate, but you just... took me by storm." He admits. "You seriously look absolutely stunning."
The brunet pulls away from him, looks at him, and immediately bursts out laughing. Jack looks at him confused.
"I'm sorry!" He wheezes. "I stained your face with my lip tint. You look like a clown!" He laughs harder.
Jack playfully rolls his eyes. "It's your fault."
