They hear the doorbell ring.

"Please do not embarrass me!" Isla pleads as she looks at the couple.

Zach and Jack share a look. "Why are you looking at us?" Jack asks.

Isla crosses her arms. Jack had the sleeves of his shirt rolled up, and Zach was wearing a tank top, both purposely flexing their arms. They roll their eyes and stop flexing.

She opens the door and hugs her boyfriend. "Hey." She smiles widely.

The boy hands her a rose but pauses when he feels two pairs of eyes on him. Isla rolls her eyes and turns to the couple. "Henry, this Jack and Zach. This is Henry, be nice."

They easily tower over the poor boy. "H-Hello." He smiles nervously and turns to Isla. "Which one is your brother?"

"I am. Got any problems with that?"Jack crosses his arms, flexing his arms.

"N-No!" He laughs nervously. "J-Just wondering."He turns to Zach. "A-Are you one of their sister's boyfriend-"

"I'm his boyfriend." He points his thumb towards Jack. "Got any problems with that?" The boy trembles.

"Oh my God!" Isla groans. "Mom!" She whines."Jack and Zach are scaring my boyfriend!"

Ava pops her head to check what's happening. She crosses her arms. "Who's this pipsqueak?" She asks them as she eyes the boy.

"Mom!" Isla grabs the boy by the wrist and drags him into the kitchen.

The trio waited for them to leave. They start laughing quietly. "He was so scared!" Zach wheezes.

"He almost fainted when you told them we were dating." Jack doubles over as he laughs.

Ava hits their arms. "Get back in character." She walks past them and heads into the kitchen.

Jack stretches his hand out for his boyfriend to take. Once he rests his hand on his, the curly head kisses the back of it. "I love you for scaring the ever living shit out of that poor boy."

"I love you for wanting to scare him with me." He chuckles.

"Cmon, let's go." Jack drags him into the kitchen.

Henry, with dark brown hair and green eyes, greets Kristin. Isla holds his hand reassuringly. They observe from the threshold.

Sydnie walks between them and enters the kitchen.

"Henry, this Sydnie, my older sister." Isla introduces him.

She looks at him up and down. "Sup?"

"I- uhm I-I..."

She chuckles and turns to the couple. "This is how you scare someone, you dumbasses."

They chuckle. Sydnie turns to him. "But you should definitely be wary of Jack, though." His eyes widen.

"Oh, stop scaring the poor boy." Kristin shakes her head. "Sit down, come on. I'm gonna take the food out of the oven."

Jack takes his father's seat before Henry can even dream about it. Zach sat next to him, followed by Ava. All take their respective seats.

Kristin sets the food on the table and starts serving everyone. She makes sure to give Zach plenty of food. The curly head holds his hand reassuringly.

"So Henry, was it?" Ava starts. "Tell us something about yourself."

"Uhm..." Poor thing can't even form a sentence.

"Henry likes to volunteer at the animal shelter." Isla interjects. "You're making him nervous." She adds.

"How do you do it without taking every animal home?" Zach asks.
