Zach kisses Andrew's and Jane's chubby little cheeks. "Sleep tight, sweethearts. Dad and I love you a lot." He kisses their foreheads and caresses their little faces.
He closes the door and sighs happily. "Alright." He clasps his hands together and looks at Isla, who was waiting for him. "They're officially asleep." He holds onto her shoulders. "Thanks for watching over them." He hugs her.
"It's no problem." She reassures. "What do I do in case they wake up?"
"Nothing a warm cup of milk doesn't solve." He winks. "If it's a nightmare, just try to distract them with a bedtime story."
Zach rushes to grab a little coat so he isn't cold. "I've taken out their hearing aids so they don't hurt themselves, but they can put in their own if they want to." He turns to her. "You know to work the TV, you know where food is... anything else?"
She shakes her head. "Go have fun, I'm a grown-up now." She chuckles.
Zach hugs her tightly. "Thank you!"He grabs his keys and wallet and rushes downstairs.
Jack had gone with Jonah, Corbyn and Daniel so he could spend more time with them and after Zach had gone to a conference a few days ago, he thought he could have dinner with them and read them a cute little story.
He parks in his usual spot and walks to the gym, where the ten year reunion is being held. Ten years since he left high school... crazy times.
The brunet enters the gym and sees a considerable number of people. He didn't even think people would attend these things. Zach looks around in search of his husband. He finds him looking uncomfortable surrounded by girls.
As he approaches, he listens into their conversation.
"... it's been quite some time, hasn't it?" A girl chuckles. "You've definitely grown."
Jack chuckles nervously. He sips on his juice. "Happily married." He looks everywhere but them. His eyes eventually land on his husband, and he smiles.
The women talk between themselves.
"Who's the lucky girl?"
"I am totally jealous of her."
"I bet she's super pretty."
"Hey there, pretty." Jack greets his husband as he stretches his hand for him to take. They turn around, and their jaws drop.
"Hi, honey." He smiles.
The girls share looks.
"I'm happily married with my beautiful husband." He looks at him and back at them.
"Oh."
"We have uhm... to refill out cups, be right back." The trio leaves, and Jack sighs relieved.
"I love you, you know that, right?" Jack pecks him as Zach chuckles.
"I love you too." He hums.
"I'm being chased everywhere I go. I'm not letting go of you now."
"Okay, casanova." Zach playfully scoffs. "No need to tell me you're attractive, I live with you."
Jack kisses his cheek lovingly. "Yet I still think you're the prettiest man I've ever laid my eyes on." He kisses his cheek again. "Cmon, let's go drink something."
The curly head leads him to the drinks.
"Jack Avery, is that you?" A feminine voice calls him.
The couple turns around, and Zach sees a girl he has never seen before.
