A week and a half went by, and Zach had been a bit more tired than his usually bubbly self. Jack has been making up for some lost time after the concussion.

As of right now, Zach is at his house, grabbing a few of his notes to put in his car to give to Isla while the meatloaf is cooking. She claims she wants to get ahead on everyone for her sophomore year because she wants to be cool like Zach and finish a year earlier. The brunet nearly cried at such sweetness.

He stops by his desk and sees a paper bag. Zach furrows his eyebrows and checks the contents of it. He blushes heavily. Right, the lipgloss and the plug.

Jack's birthday is coming up. He would certainly be very happy to know he actually gave it a try. Zach sets his notebooks down and takes the bag into the bathroom.

The brunet comes out of the bathroom with a big blush on his face. He purses his lips as he sends the picture he took to Jack.

It was him, posing with his butt facing the mirror, holding his shirt up with his teeth (because he knows Jack loves it), making sure that, from that angle he could see the pink jewel nestled between his cheeks.

Jack feels his phone vibrate as he chats with his mother. "...I mean, it was bound to happen. Isla is getting older." He shrugs.

He checks the notifications. He opens their text log. Jack's eyes widen, and he throws his phone onto the couch, making sure to lock it. He scratches his chin casually.

Kristin raises an eyebrow."Is everything okay, darling?'

Jack clears his throat and hums affirmatively, his voice a bit more high-pitched than usual. "Just a stupid email." He smiles. "Anyways, you should totally invite Isla's boyfriend for dinner tomorrow." Jack goes to fetch his phone.

"You think so?"

Jack nods. "Zach and I will scare the crap out of him." He nudges her as he chuckles.

Kristin checks the time. "Oh, you should go. Zach's probably counting on you for dinner."

More like making me want to rail - His phone vibrates again. Jack smiles."He's making his grandma's meatloaf recipe." He checks his phone.

zach:
my parents are here!!!

zach:
do you still wanna
come over?

"Well, looks like I'm about to meet his parents, too." He texts him.

jack🫀:
yes

jack🫀:
it's ab time I meet them, babe

jack🫀:
keep the plug in.

"Oh, quite the big step." Kristin nudges him. "You should dress up for it."

"Should I?" He pinches his eyebrows together.

Kristin nods. "You should always cause a good impression."

Jack gives her one decided nod and rushes to his room.

"Careful with your head! You had a concussion two weeks ago!" She raises her voice as Jack enters his room.

The curly head puts on a white dress shirt and some slacks and makes sure he smells nice. He checked his phone and noticed he had a text from Zach.

zach:
okay

He looks at the picture again and zooms in on it. Jack rubs his face and takes one deep breath. He quickly grabs his wallet, his keys, their small bottle of lube, and stuffs everything in his pockets. He steps out of his room but returns to grab a belt and his wristwatch.
