*six years later*

"Smile for the picture, sweethearts!" Zach snaps a few pictures of his three children. "Oh.. I can't believe it's my cute baby's first day at school!" He squeals.

"Honey, we have to go before the twins, and you are late." Jack smiles.

"Car, c'mon!" He signs them to get in his car.

"C'mon Jay, your legs are shorter than mine! Why do I have to go in the middle?" Andrew whines.

"These places have been chosen ever since that pipsqueak over there was born. It's your fault for liking her." She scoffs.

Jack closes their door and steps inside. Andrew buckles up a six year old Ophelia. It was her first day at school.

Zach fixes the mirror. "Are you all buckled up?"

"Yeah, dad." Jane answers.

"Alright, rocket is about to take off." Zach announces.

"Clear for take off." Jack chuckles.

Ophelia grabs Andrew's hand. "Will it go well?"

"What? The drive there or school?" Jane questions as she applies some mascara.

"School."

"Lia, there's nothing to worry about." He reassures. "You're so cute. You'll make friends in no time."

She smiles and holds into his hand.

Zach parks in the elementary school, and everyone gets off. Ophelia holds onto Zachs hand.

Jack makes sure to take plenty of pictures and even asks a mom to take a picture of the whole family.

The brunet turns to his daughter and crouches. "You can do this, sweetie. Make plenty of friends, okay? I'll pick you up when my school is over."

She nods. "I'll be brave."

"Awesome, sweetheart." Zach gives her a high-five. "Your epilepsy pills are in your bag. Make sure to give them to your teacher. And do your inhaler before and after you go to recess. Can you handle that? Do you want me to write it down?"

"Dad, she's a big girl." Jane winks at her."Look at her starting elementary already."

Zach sniffs and hugs her tightly. "Oh, my baby..." He pouts.

"Dude, you made dad cry." Andrew nudges her.

Jack crouches, as well. "Honey, Ophelia has to go."

The little girl hugs Jack tightly, and he tears up. He stands upright and turns to his kids. "This is your fault." He pouts.

"How is this our fault?" Jane scoffs.

"You two were good kids and made your dad want another one." He kisses her check lovingly. "Alrighty, Miss Ophelia, time to say our goodbyes."

She turns to Jane and practically jumps into her embrace. The older sister hugs her tightly. "If they hit you, let them hit once, and they do that thing I taught you." She kisses her forehead.

"I will." She smiles and turns to Andrew, who picked her up easily.

"Have fun, can't wait for you to tell us all about it." He kisses her cheek and sets her down.

Ophelia waves them off and rushes into the classroom.

"Alright, time to go." Jack clasps his hand together. "I have a meeting in an hour."

Zach looks between them."Last to the car does the dishes tonight."

The four start running outside, Jane is pretty sure she has jumped over a few kids.
