The couple twitches when the alarm rings loudly, effectively waking them up. Zach groans and pushes Jack to snooze it. The curly head feels around for his phone to shut it up, but he can't feel it.

"Jack, turn it off." He whines.

"I can't find it." He slurs as he sits up. His hands groped the bedsheets, under the pillows, Zach, until finally! it was on the nightstand all along. Jack lies down once more.

Zach stretches his body and sits up as well. He shakes Jack awake. "No falling asleep."

Jack groans and sits up. "You're lucky I love you." He kisses his cheek.

"Good morning, honey. I love you." He says in a sing-song voice.

The curly head smiles, his eyes still closed. "Good morning, beautiful."

"How do you know I'm still beautiful? You have your eyes closed. Open them."

Jack blinks slowly as he opens his eyes. "Still absolutely stunning." He pecks him.

The two chuckle.

"We have to hurry up. I have to get to school, and you have a morning shift to do." He moves to get up from bed.

Jack wraps his arms around him, stopping him. "I'm stuck doing the night shift for like two weeks." He groans. "I'll miss sleeping with you."

Zach rests a warm hand over his head and sighs. "I don't know how I'm gonna do it either..."

"You can sleep at mine." He starts kissing his back. "My mom definitely doesn't mind."

"I feel like I'd be overstaying my welcome." He confesses.

"Would it help if you made dinner a few times? You could bring some downstairs for me, too."

He nods. "I'll clean the kitchen too."

"I'll talk to her today, and I'll give you an answer when you stop by at mine for our dinner." Jack squeezes him. "You smell nice." He kisses his shoulder.

"We showered together, remember?" He chuckles. "We totally have to go, though. We're gonna be late if we don't."

"What do you want for breakfast?"

"Uhm.. toast and coffee, please."

"I'll make you the best toast ever. Pick us some clothes, pretty."

"Will do." He chuckles.

Zach gets up from Jack's bed as he waits for his boyfriend to finish showering. His grandma was calling.

"I'll ask Jack's mom, grams, let me go find her. Hold on a minute."

He heads to the living room where he finds Kristin ironing some clothes.

"Hey, Kristin?" He calls her to attention.

"Yes, sweetheart?"

"My grandma is asking whether you want to spend Thanksgiving with her in Texas. She's at the supermarket and the turkey is on sale."

"We're in June..." Isla comments.

"Don't question the power of saving up a couple extra dollars." Kristin scoffs and turns to Zach. "Only if she spends Christmas with us."

He repeats what she said to his grandmother. Zach then puts the phone on speaker. "Talk to her, grams."

"Good afternoon, I'm Francesca. My Zachary Dean has told me a million things about you."
