Sunjae peeked out from behind his gate. He had been waiting there for the better part of 15 minutes, hoping to catch a glimpse of Sol before they both headed off to school.
As he saw Sol's familiar figure approaching the front of her house, Sunjae quickly stepped out from his own gate, trying to make it seem like a chance encounter.

The two walked in a comfortable silence for a few moments, Sunjae kept glancing surreptitiously at Sol's shoulder as they walked, his brow furrowed with concern. He knew about the punishment she had received the other day.
"-Are your shoulders okay now?"
At his words, Sol felt her heart skip a beat. She halted in her tracks, her eyes widening as she stared at Sunjae in stunned silence. "Did you... did you see me doing the punishment?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Even if I have, I haven't seen you.", He replied nonchalantly.
Sol halted as she furrowed her eyebrows," what the heck? have he seen me or not?", she whispered to herself as she picking up her speed to catch up.
