꧁𓊈𒆜"Chapter Six"𒆜𓊉꧂
You're not welcome here.

The ombre of colours that swirled into the mountain was a sight I was familiar with. It allowed me to venture into Ninjago, cause havoc, and see Lloyd. The lights that it emitted were painful, but the travel they allowed were all worth it. I looked over my shoulder, gazing at my father who looked back at me with the same uncertainty. Wu tapped his staff against the stone and turned his back to the portal so he could look at us.
There were so many things that I wanted to say, that I wanted to ask him. What kind of trouble had Lloyd caused? Why did he leave me with my father upon his banishment?

He was supposed to protect others, but I didn't see him protecting my youth and it's innocence. I peered at him, shocked to find that he was already looking at me. I glared at him and looked away.

"Please, you go first," My father insisted to his brother.

"Though we live in two different world, I still see good in your heart," Uncle Wu smiled.

I clenched my jaw to stop a comment. I wasn't sure if I wanted to disagree or laugh in his face. We lived in different worlds, sure, but the only good in my father's heart was the fact that he loved his children. And even that, it was when it suited him.

I settled for a quiet snicker that he definitely heard but made no comment on.

"The battle between our worlds is inevitable," Father sighed, but then a sick smile rose to his lips, "You put too much trust in me Brother,"

There it was. The kindness being pushed to the surface was bound to change. Good. It was kind of making me uncomfortable. I watched with sick glee as Wu's face twisted with concern. He had no time to react when Father pushed him over the edge. As startled as he was, he grabbed onto the ledge, his eyes wide as he stared up at the two Garmadon's that had only caused hell for his city.

"But I came for your help to save your son!" He called up to us, his voice full of distress, "Did you lead me here to destroy me?"

A dark smirk slid onto my lips, "See you on the other side, Uncle,"

I lifted my foot and stood firmly on his hand, shifting it so his fingers peeled away from the side. We watched him fall and dissapear into the swirling lights. That wasn't all of the pain I wanted to inflict onto that man.

My father turned to me, "Well, you didn't have to do that,"

I chuckled, "Yeah, I know,"

"After you, Prince of Darkness," He rolled his eyes, and held his arm forward.

When I was a child, he used to pretend that we were rulers of the underworld. We weren't far off, but there was no official statement claiming that title as ours. It used to feed my ego like fuck, it made me feel like I was ready in charge of something because of the evil I possessed.
However, as I stood opposite him on the edge of the portal, and he used the childhood game on me oncemore, I found myself unable to maintain my uninterested look. A small smile broke through as I stared at him stubbornly.

"Why thank you, King of Corruption," I bowed slightly, chuckling at our childishness.

I slung my Bow over the pack of arrows on my back and leaped into the swirling colours, shutting my eyes at the familiar impact. For a moment, it felt like I was swimming, but then all of those sensations went away and I was falling through the air. I crashed down into a field, laying next to Wu who was already on his feet. He gave me a look, probably for the damage of his fingers, and I outwardly laughed at him.
