꧁𓊈𒆜"Chapter Fifteen"𒆜𓊉꧂
Evil is Gone.

When the snake had been defeated, I didn't want to believe it. It was like my mind had shut down and a whole new eye had opened revealing something I had never seen before.

Suddenly all the fear, all the pain that had been created upon the arrival of the beast had slowly diminished.

I watched from afar as the Ninja crowded some people still in Ninjago, making sure they were OK and injury free.

I watched them care for people that they didn't know.

It made my fingers twitch in hatred for them.

How could they give that kind of love to people that they didn't know anything about? How were their hearts so pure?

It felt like decades we were sat there for, occasionally, we would see a flash of Elemental power, or one of the Ninja jumping over the giant snake body to get more survivors to their already collected gathering of people.

Eventually, scientists and animal experts involved themselves with  removing the body. How they did that, I'll never be too sure on.

I didn't expect it to be any different, but the smell that the beast left behind was terrible.

The blood from the kill had leaked into the sewers and the drains of the city, something told me that smell wouldn't vanish quickly.

"Are you gonna be okay by yourself?" Violet placed a hand on my shoulder, her other hand occupied with her phone.

Killow had rang her during our stay on the building, he was frantic. He was too high and had no idea what was going on. She had been pacing frantically ontop of the building.

"Yeah," I nodded slowly, brushing her hand away.

She took a couple steps away from me, assuring Killow over the phone that he'd be ok and she'd be with him soon.

"Don't forget me when you rule this place Garmadon," She muttered softly.

Garmadon.

That's who I was.

I was poisoned with evil the minute I was birthed with that surname.

I had to live up to it.

...

The Destiny's Bounty was halfway across Ninjago and it took me 3 hours to walk to it. I didn't mind, I was used to long walks in the Underworld.
