꧁𓊈𒆜"Chapter Twenty Six"𒆜𓊉꧂
Fate ignored me.

I'd never really wished that I was normal. Sure, I'd craved the normalcy of going to school and having my Mom pick me up after. I'd wanted my Dad to help me with homework and maybe teach me how to ride a bike, but I'd never wished to be normal.

I'd grown to like the power that I had, no normal person could have that. No normal person had armies following you around to do your bidding, no normal person had a father who would do anything for your safety, no normal person had powers.

But as I watched my fully changed Father sit opposite Lloyd with his eyes shut and his legs crossed, I grieved the life I never had.

I was happy for him-- Lloyd I mean-- he was having bonding time with his Dad, I'd had that all my life. It was sort of sweet in a way, but I also hated it. Half of me wanted to pull him away and replace my father to ensure Lloyd's safety, but the other half of me forced my mind to remember the change and the fight we won.

Father was normal again. He got to have his normal life back.

Everyone did apart from me.

...

"Spontaneous lights of purple and gold shot out through all of Ninjago as The Green Ninja fought against his evil brother, Ashton Garmadon, in order to save the world,"

"That's right Gayle. Ashton had taken over all of Ninjago and turned everyone into his puppets. Only the First Spinjitzu Master knows where we'd all be if it wasn't for Lloyd!" Her partner added, "Thank you Green Ninja!"

The TV was turned off but I didn't look away from the black screen. In every life was I the bad guy?

"Well," Jay shrugged, slamming the remote down, "That's misinformation if I ever heard it,"

"Literally," Cole agreed, crossing his arms as he leant back on the table, "Who on Earth told them that?"

"It doesn't matter," Lloyd hissed, his green eyes glaring at the screen, "What matters is that wasn't what happened!"

"It's fine," I shook my head, my eyes still seeing the outline of the news presenters on the TV.

"It's not fine," Lloyd's eyes turned to me, "If it wasn't for you then I would never have been able to save Dad and they're painting you out to be the bad guy. They're painting out that you did this!"

I looked back at him. I had already accepted it. It was my fault anyway. I was the Purple one... you see a bright purple light in the sky changing normal people into evil ones you're gonna think it's the purple bad guy.
