꧁𓊈𒆜"Chapter Nineteen"𒆜𓊉꧂
Forward in Time.

"That's okay," Father smiled at me reassuringly, "Keep going, you'll get it eventually,"

I looked to the ground, untensing my fists that were clenched at my sides before looking back at him. I begrudgingly picked up my Bow and Quiver that I'd thrown to the ground, in a fit of rage, and set up an arrow.

"Don't think so had about it Ashton," His red eyes were kind as he spoke, "Just relax and look to the target,"

I nodded, biting the skin on my lip before closing one eye and stretching my arm out to pull the Bow outwards. I had to hit it this time.

With one final blow of breath, I snapped the string and arrow, watching it swirl right passed my father and hitting the target dead on.

I froze, my eyes going wide, my hands dropping the weapon.

"Daddy I did it!" I went to run to him, but he had already engulfed me in his arms.

"Yes! Yes, I am so proud of you Son!" I felt him kiss my forehead and then retract back, "I knew you could do it,"

But now I didn't stand in front of a man so kind. We had been stood in the murky forest for hours. I was tired, my Father was becoming more and more frustrated at my lack of ability to create the power I was foretold to have. I wanted to give up, but the crying voice in the back of my mind forced me not to. The more power we had, the more we'd be able to stop the Ninja.

I thought this would be easy, I had my Father's strength. It was annoying, I just wanted it to be done already. Controlling smoke was easy, and it wasn't even my own element!

"For the last time!" My father banged The Mega Weapon on the ground, "Find it within you Son! The feeling has always been there,"

I wanted to curse at him but found myself nodding. I was doing this for the both of us, I had to remember that.

I shut my eyes and tried to focus. What had always been a feeling inside me that I never knew what it was. What had been there throughout growing up, there had to be something. But I couldn't find anything.

"Father..." I knew exactly what was going to happen after.

"If you do not learn this, we will fail," He stepped closer to me, "The Garmadon downfall will be on your hands. It will be your fault,"
