꧁𓊈𒆜"Chapter One"𒆜𓊉꧂
Give me a clue.

His breath was hot and it completely melted my mind. His hands were at the nape of my neck, the other was squeezing my shoulder, pulling me closer. His tongue glided across mine. He tasted good.

I shoved him closer to the wall, if that were even possible and a small huff came out of his mouth at my force.

His hair was in sharp points, curling over his eyebrows and shaping his face well. I wanted to tug on them but I didn't want to ruin their beauty. Only rare things held such outstanding standards.

I pulled back from him, my teeth biting his bottom lip, extracting another soft groan. If he kept releasing sounds like that then I'd miss my portal back home.

I couldn't help but smirk, sliding my hand off his chest to wipe my mouth from the residue of our heated kiss. I could feel his eyes on me, I wished I could peel back his mask and reveal his features. I was sure they'd be as gorgeous as his groans.

His rest rose gently, still frozen by the intensity of which I had caught him and stole his lips with mine.

"What are you--"

"I need to leave," I answered his question before he finished it.

"Wait-- uh, why? Can't you stay?" He frowned, his hand holding my shoulder tighter.

"No," I shook my head, "I have a life outside Ninjago's masquerade balls,"

"Will you be here next week?" He asked desperately.

"Of course," I knew I wouldn't be, but letting people down was kind of my thing, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to find you,"

"What's your name?" He released his grip, it was more gentle this time.

"Desperate to see me again?" I chuckled, moving back so I wasn't touching any part of him.

Although my father discouraged it, running through Ninjago's darkened backstreets with the moon glaring down at me was one of my favourite activities. Finding a fling to bring some sort of feeling back into me was also a plus. I usually found someone to mess around with, I was irresistible.

The boy in front of me made a sound of refusal but didn't deny me verbally. I was right, of course I was.

"Thought so," I hummed, twirling a strand of hair before tucking it behind my ear.
