Will and Nico were laying in bed, snuggling. They had pretty much been in bed all day. Both were tired and Will was off of work for the next couple days. Nico shifted, scooting closer to Will. He was laying on Will's chest, his head buried in the boy beneath him. Will chuckled and reached his hand up to stroke Nico's head.

"Nico..." Will groaned, "I'm bored,"

Nico looked up at Will with a raised eyebrow, "Oh, am I not entertaining enough for you?" he joked.

"That's not what I meant," Will said, "I just wanna do something."

"Fine," Nico huffed, as he sat up from his place on Will, "How about I teach you something?"

"Oh~" Will smirked.

"Not like that, you dumbass," Nico swatted Will's shoulder playfully, "I mean like..." he thought for a moment, "Why don't I teach you one of the recipes my mamma always made for me and Bianca when I was younger," Nico's eyes sparkled. He loved cooking and he was excited to share a part of his past with his husband.

"Sure!" Will said excitedly, sitting up and giving Nico a kiss on the nose. "What recipe were you thinking?"

"Well," Nico started as he and Will got out of bed, "I was thinking this one meal she made quite a lot. It was always a comfort, especially during war. It doesn't have much fat in it, since we had to ration, but I always loved it," thinking back on it made Nico happier. it was strange, he remembered remembering his past before and he always got sad and depressed thinking about his mom, or Bianca, but now, he has so many good things in his life. When he looks back on it, he just remembers how much love they had for each other. Nico popped on a large baggy shirt, but kept pants off. Will slipped on a pair of grey sweatpants, keeping a shirt off.

"You know?" Will said as they made their way to the kitchen, "Sometimes I forget that you grew up during World War II. It amazes me really," He stopped and turned to Nico, wrapping his arms around the smaller boy's waist, bringing him into a kiss. Nico smiled into it and kissed Will back.

"Well, I was pretty young. I mean I don't remember that much," Nico said bashfully.

Will kissed his on the cheek, "So, what meal are we making?" he asked.

"I don't think it really has a name, but it's basically meatballs in a tomato sauce, served with fried eggplant and bread," Nico answered, rummaging through the cabinets in an attempt to find cans of tomato sauce. "I don't have a recipe, but my mamma never really used one either. She just kind of made it with whatever we had at the time," Nico turned to Will, "Can you get the beef, and eggs from the fridge please?" he asked, rummaging through the produce drawer to find spinach and eggplant.

"Yup," Will replied, grabbing those two ingredients. He placed them on the counter along with a tub of ricotta. Nico grabbed a large bowl from the cabinet and added the beef, spinach, egg, and ricotta.

"Can you mix that up for me? I don't wanna deal with the feeling of it," Nico asked Will with puppy dog eyes as he went to wash his hands.

Will chuckled, "Of course sunshine," Taking off his wedding band beforehand, Will began to mix together the meat mixture. Using his hands, he mixed it all until it was just combined; per Nico's instructions to not make the meat tough, whatever that meant. Cooking was never Will's strong suit.

Meanwhile, Nico placed a large pot on the stove over medium-high heat. He melted the smallest amount of butter, waiting for it to heat up more.

Will looked over, "Why don't you add more butter, it looks like it will barely keep the meatballs from sticking to the bottom of the pan,"
