Solangelo One Shots (fluff)

Story XXV

Will had been working all day, even though it was Saturday! Nico couldn't believe it! He had been wanting to spend time with Will since he had been so busy at the hospital, but even when Will wasn't physically at work, he was still working. Nico was growing sick of it. He wasn't gonna lie, he was needy and craved Will's attention. One couldn't blame him for wanting his own husband's love.

Nico propped himself against the door frame to the office and saw Will in his spinny chair, in front of his laptop with documents messily sprawled across the desk. He was hunched over, hands tugging at his golden curls as he scanned the screen and referenced papers. His hair was a mess and Nico doesn't know if Will has gotten up and straightened out his back in the past couple hours.

Wanting Will's attention wasn't the only reason Nico wanted to get Will to stop working. The other one being that he was genuinely concerned for Will's health. His skin was paler, his usual golden tan and freckles, dull. His bright eyes were glazed over from looking at the bright screen. Overall, he wasn't looking very good and Nico needed to do something about it.

So, Nico decided to take matters into his own hands.

He crept over and looped his arms around Will's shoulders, bending down and placing a soft kiss to his ruffled locks.

"Hey, sunshine," Nico greeted. Will barely registered Nico's presence, only humming his response. Nico frowned into Will's hair and let out a heavy sigh. "Will, I think you should take a break."

"I can't." was all Will responded. Nico rolled his eyes and decided words probably weren't the best way to convince him to take a break. The only way to do it was through actions.

Nico moved his hands down Will's front, feeling his chest under his finger tips. Nico placed gentle kisses along the nape of Will's neck, giving him a couple bites here and there. He heard Will's breath hitch, but other than that, Will was still too consumed in work. He pouted into Will's neck, but then continued.

"Sunshine..." Nico whispered behind Will's ear, kissing up the shell and nibbling behind it. Nico could see a faint blush across Will's cheeks and the stalling of Will's fingers over the keyboard.

Nico smirked as he detached from Will's neck and pulled Will's chair out from the desk. Before Will could process anything or protest, Nico straddled his lap, reaching his hands up to cup his face, his fingers playing with the shorter strands for hair, while his thumb brushed gently under his eyes. Gosh, Will's eye bags were out of control.

"Nico-" Will started to complain, but before he could say anything else, Nico shut him up with a gentle kiss.

"Will, sunshine, please take a break," Nico pleaded, pulling away and resting their foreheads together. "I need attention," Will chuckled at this. "And it pains me to see you drain yourself." Nico pulled back more and poked Will in the chest to emphasize his point.

Will sighed. "Neeks, I-" but Nico cut him off again.

"No. Listen here Solace," Nico's gaze was fierce and his tone adamant. "You are going to come to bed and rest. You will cuddle with me and take a nap. End of discussion."

Will's eyes widened in surprise, but he caved. "Fine." he grumbled. Nico smiled brightly and dismounted. Then he grabbed Will by the wrist and dragged him to their room.

Nico slammed the door behind them and just about threw Will onto the bed, wrapping around him like ivy. Will yelped, but then wrapped himself around Nico as well and chuckled. "Guess you really need these cuddles, huh?" Will teased.

Nico brought his head up from Will's chest and gave him a large, sloppy kiss. "You have no idea," Nico mumbled between their lips. "Now take a nap, you dork." Nico tried to be firm, but Will's sparkling eyes were boring into his and the feeling of Will's skin made him just about dissolve into the blankets.

Will gave him one last kiss, before settling down and closing his eyes. Nico watched as his eye lashes stopped fluttering, his body become still, and his breathing slow. Will was out like a light.

Nico smiled to himself and cuddled closer to him. He felt Will squeeze him tighter as he whispered a very small 'I love you' into the air, that almost sounded like the wind.

"I love you too, amore." Nico whispered at last, slipping into sleep along with his love.
