Author's POV

Janhvi Choudhary grew up in a traditional family that evolved with the times, blending traditional values with modern thoughts and practices. Despite their roots in tradition, her family embraced progressive ideas, encouraging education and independence among their children. This upbringing instilled in Janhvi a deep respect for her cultural heritage while fostering a forward-thinking mindset that allowed her to navigate the complexities of modern life with grace and confidence. Her family's adaptability and open-mindedness played a crucial role in shaping Janhvi into the resilient and compassionate woman she is today.

In the vast Choudhary mansion, Janhvi was the youngest of them all. Her life began with loss, as her mother passed away as soon as she delivered Janhvi. Her father, lost in grief for his beloved wife, found solace in his work, leaving the household's care to his father, Ratan Kishore Choudhary, who managed everything, and Janhvi's grandmother, Subhadra, who shouldered the responsibilities of home and children.

During those early years, it was Janhvi's elder brother who became her guardian, nurturing her until their father remarried Sakshi when Janhvi was two years old. Subhadra had pressured her son to remarry for the sake of his children, especially Janhvi. Sakshi embraced her new role wholeheartedly, showering love and care on Varun, Kabir, and Janhvi as if they were her own.

At first, Varun and Kabir struggled to accept Sakshi, feeling a pang of discomfort at the thought of someone replacing their late mother. But Sakshi's patience and unwavering love towards them and the family gradually won them over, earning their deep respect and affection. They both worship the ground she walks on.

Janhvi, being the youngest, enjoyed the advantages of being pampered by everyone in the household. Her grandparents treated Varun, Kabir, and Janhvi with equal measures of love and attention, ensuring no distinction was ever made among them. Even their parents never differentiated between their children, but Janhvi was the apple of their eye. They loved her immensely but scolded her when she was wrong.

For Varun, however, Janhvi held a special place in his heart. The significant age gap between them meant he had cared for her since her birth, fostering a deep and intense bond that went beyond sibling affection. To Varun and Kabir, Janhvi was not just a sister but a precious reminder of their late mother. They saw their mother's kindness and grace in Janhvi, believing her to be a living embodiment of their lost mother. Janhvi's name carried a special significance within her family, as it was inspired by her late mother's alternate name, Ganga.
