AUTHOR'S POV
As Yash, Akash, and Vicky landed in Auckland, the fresh breeze hit them, signaling the start of their trip. They checked into one of the best hotels in the city near sky tower and headed to their respective rooms to rest after the long flight.
After some time, Yash decided to head to the office to address some issues in his New Zealand branch. He left without a word, focused on solving the problems at hand. Hours passed, and Akash and Vicky tried calling him, but Yash didn't answer. It wasn't until the evening that Yash called Akash.
"Where are you?" Yash asked.
Akash replied, "You finally finished your work?"
"Yeah," Yash confirmed.
"We're right near your office. Come down," Akash said.
Yash hung up the phone and made his way downstairs. When he reached the lobby, he saw Akash and Vicky waiting for him. Vicky crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. "Finally, you have time for us," he teased.
Yash rolled his eyes. "Why are you acting like a girlfriend, drama queen?" he shot back, smirking.
Akash and Vicky exchanged amused glances, but quickly composed themselves. "Where are we going, and why are you both here?" Yash asked, curious.
Vicky grinned. "There's a great pub nearby, owned by Bhaiyya's friend. We're going there."
"A pub?" Yash raised an eyebrow.
Vicky nodded enthusiastically, and Akash added, "We even bought you some casual clothes. You can change in your office."
Yash nodded, grabbed the clothes, and changed in his cabin. Once ready, they all hopped into the car and drove toward the pub. Upon arriving, they made their way to the VIP section and ordered a round of drinks. Yash, however, ordered a mocktail.
"No alcohol for me," Yash stated firmly.
Akash and Vicky exchanged looks but didn't press the matter. They knew Yash had made a promise to Janhvi to never touch alcohol again, and even after losing her, he stayed true to that promise. To cope with the pain, he threw himself into his work, avoiding the temptation to drink.
As they sat there, chatting and enjoying the music, Yash's phone buzzed. Seeing it was Yuvi calling, he excused himself and went to a quieter corner of the pub to answer.
"Yeah, Yuvi?"
"So, how are you guys enjoying?" Yuvi asked on the other end.
Yash sighed. "It's boring, yaar. Why don't you and Aishu come here, just like the old times?"
Yuvi chuckled. "Are you sure, they said its just boys trip. Yash said what's the enjoyment without you and Aishu, board a private jet immediately and you both will be here by tomorrow morning so we can enjoy this vacation. Yuvi said sounds good okay then, We'll be there by tomorrow to surprise Akash and Vicky."
Yash smirked, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "That's wonderful! I'll send a car for you both to the airport."
Yuvi said "Great! But don't tell them-Let it be a surprise. Yash replied absolutely give them a surprise. Yuvi added they said you wanted to spend time with them alone, are you okay.
